Anyways, story goes as this:
I've been wanting a puppy or kitten for a while, but MIL wasn't too keen on the idea of getting another pet, so I sorta just put it out of my mind as much as I could.
Anyways, tonight at the weekly family dinner, I got to meet BIL and his wife's newest addition: and 8 week old grey tabby moggy. They've had her for two weeks. And guess what? The girl they got her off has a few more. And guess what else? They're going to the pound tommorrow because her landlord is selling the house and tommorrow it the 1st open house. If they don't find homes in a week, they they'll be put down.

Well, turned out she only had two left. Two others were taken to the vet to go into they housing program they run. They other two (the vet wouldn't take more than 2) we're still not off the hook.

I wish I could of had them both, but hopefully the other one will find a home tommorrow, the girl had someone who'd said Maybe.

lol, up until today I thought bubba was a girl...that's what the girl we got 'her' of told us.
But on closer examination I'm not so sure. I looked up on the net on sexing kittens, and am 95% certain we have a boy! Not that it really matters, I love him just the same, he's soo affectionate (which is why I chose him. The other one just sat and gave me dirty looks lol) and males tend to stay that way more than females do.
The only problem is I already had a name picked out: "Angela (Angel) Marie"...can't exactly call a boy that, so now I have to come up with something else lol.
Wonder what OH would think of "Dexter" lol...and what other name would go well with it?

Sorry it's been so long, been concentrating on Dexter and been sooo tired cos he's been sleeping in our bed and doesn't sleep through the nite yet (good practice lol)

I took him to the vet, turns out he is a boy, so his name is Dexter Angelo =)

I love the name dexter, I had a kitten with the same name Rescued a litter and gave them all names that ended in 'er' ! Dexter, Baxter, Chester, Joker, Piper! They all found great homes and Joker is still with us!
