I don't know if I peed myself or what...

Hope you are ok hun! Defo sounds like its worth getting checked out!

Hope your ok and I think you should get checked out. I had a similar thing happen at 37wks with DD but it was just wee (embarrassing or what!) but my mums waters started leaking at 26wks when she was pregnant with me and I was born at 38wks and I'm fine.

With internals there not as bad as they sound, after having 2 babies already all my dignatity is gone as soon as I walk through that hospital door :) xx

Just to add Mine was a positive ending-I started leaking at 26ish weeks and returned to normal at around 36-37 weeks.

She was overdue weighing 7lbs 8oz. Amniotic fluid replaces itself every four hours I was told.

The steroid injections hurt, but the good thing is I got weekly scans up until birth :)

Thanks everyone... still no word from my midwife so contemplating skipping her and going straight to triage. They made me feel like an idiot the last time (concerns with movements) :dohh:

I might give her the rest of the day to get back to me then, if nothing, phone triage.. hmm

Honestly Hun, go now. If it is a slow leak, you want them to try and stop it real fast. x

I've been dry since last night if that makes any difference?

I will try and get through now though

Hope everything is okay? I've been checking back on this thread as wanted to see how you're doing. x

Hope ur ok... Hope you got it checked, yesterday i had a, severe migrane and was.puking and i peed my pants at the same time from.puking

Hope all was well. I'm still in hospital, so glad I got checked. They are motoring baby closely and all is good, I have to drink like a fish to replace what I'm trickling. It feels awful but equally all the midwives say most of the ladies in here are in for use same reason and it's not massively uncommon. I have a small tear, just one of those things apparently. One day at a time, hoping to go home today with some rather sexy giant pads (as long as my arm!!!) and a colour chart (aka dulux) to monitor my loss. On antibiotics for 10 days and now get a weekly scan and twice weekly CTG monitoring! The stress could totally be done without but the ongoing extra monitoring now is great!

Good luck Lolly! Thinking of you :flower:

I finally got through and have been told to "keep an eye on it" and phone back if it happens again

When I had morning sickness really bad I would quite often pee myself while puking  I never saw the colour since I'm usually wearing dark colours but it didn't smell like pee, however in my case I just knew it was that - obvious sensations and all that.

Always best to get these things checked out but chances are it was just a little leak. Happens to most of us! :hugs:

I think if it was me I would just go directly to ER, just because I would worry myself to death if not. I've only been once when I had slight brown spotting (which only lasted 1 hour), and they scanned me and looked into everything. I don't have a number to ring or anything though, my only option to doctor's advice when I don't have an appointment is ER, hope everything is okay XXXX

That's a stupid response from the midwife! Surely you've been "keeping an eye on it" enough to call her up in the first place?!
Go up to triage.

That was from triage! My midwife never got back to me  So much for "call me anytime!"

Thanks hun. I hope you've had no more incidents. I'm home now, still losing fluid but baby is happy and no infection so just close monitoring now xxx

I'm glad to hear you're home! Are you on strict bed rest? Nothing more from me, thankfully!

Lolly-try to rest up and keep drinking water. Also vitamin C is good for repairing and maintaining a strong amniotic sac.
Are they giving you doppler scans to measure the amount of fluid you have?

As long as baby is happy and placenta function is good, babies can manage well with low amounts :flower:

Like I've mentioned before, mine were very low from 28 weeks after I suspected leaking for a few weeks, and went back up by the end with dd2.
