 Hi all,

I'm 37 years old 18 weeks after having 2 miscarriages at 4 weeks and Im really struggling with whether or not its the baby I feel moving.
Now I know they say its usually between 16-22 weeks you will feel movement. I think I have felt a couple of kicks @ 16 weeks and Im guessing what is a whole lot of rolling/twisting or flipping.

I have an idea what the kicks feel like (like someone flicking their fingers at you) but is it rolling I am feeling?? Its feels like the sensation you get right when the roller coaster or giant drop starts moving (for those of you who like roller coasters) Problem is... I don't know if that's really the baby moving. Also, is it normal at this stage to feel it sometimes but not all the time??

Hi, i've had the exact same thing for the last few weeks, and it's slowly getting more frequent and noticeable. Congrats on feeling your LO, enjoy it!

That sounds about right! Rolling is the oddest sensation. You're feeling LO, hun!

The sensations will start to get stronger as the weeks go by. By week 22, you'll be feeling LO all the time!

I did get that rolling/churning sensation once at 16 weeks. It was the coolest thing! I probably wouldn't have attributed it to baby if I hadn't seen it turning over at my 13 week scan. Glad you're feeling baby :)

I feel baby when I'm laying in bed at night... It's so funny. I swear it feels like baby's trying to beat me up, but it's so gentle... Just lots of little taps for a minute. Then, it stops. Maybe it's baby rolling or trying to find a comfy position or something. I don't... know... but it's a great feeling! Congrats on feeling YOUR baby, too!
