I Don't Know What To Do!!!

Oh god, Renah's been in her crib since 6 weeks. I fell asleep with her in my bed last night and I woke up this morning feeling like crap cause I coulda rolled over on her, even though I woke up to her kicking me in the stomach (that NEVER stops, only now its from the outside )

I think its good to put her in the crib. She has her own space, I have mine. I think sometimes babies need their alone time too. Maybe you could get an Angelcare monitor with the pad to ease your mind?

We put Hannah in her crib from birth as well. Early on we had the bumper pad on (the room was well ventilated and she didn't move from the position we had her in)....around 3 months when she started rolling we ended up taking it out and now all that's in her crib is her swaddling blanket (which she likes to sleep with). Hope you get some rest tonight :hugs:

Well I think that's why I couldn't sleep last night because a)everytime I would put her down she would scream and cry and b)I was soooo afraid I was going to squish her or something! I'm not sure how people cosleep...do they have special things to cosleep with!?

Yah we saw the Angelcare monitor at Walmart but I think that might make things worse (if that's possible!!) because doesn't everytime she moves on the mat it beeps? I'd be afraid if it didnt beep something was wrong..LOL...ok seriously i'm a basket case and have come to realize that NOTHING is going to help with my worries!!

If she'll settle with you holding her, can you take her to bed with you so you can get some sleep?

I was thinking this. Your LO just needs to get some sleep so she's not overtired and can get back into her sleep cycle. I know that sounds obvious. I remember when Fin was about that age he did a full weekend without any proper sleep and it was horrid. I thought he was really ill or something. We had to swaddle him really tight and put him on his side.

It is awful though honey. I really feel for you. Just bear in mind these are isolated incidents! xx
