Hi ladies :flower:

I'm on CD1 of my 13th month TTC. After looking back at all of my other cycles and charts, I've realised that my luteal phase changes a lot month by month - it can go anywhere from 12 to 16 days. I know that's not normal and it's due to low progesterone. My cycles range anywhere from 30 to 33 days, but I don't think that's anything to worry about is it?

But what I've been thinking about is trying out a progesterone supplement, or cream. I have a friend on here who has used the cream with success (sadly ended in MC), and I was wondering if anyone else here has any experience with it?

I have other signs of low progesterone, such as my temps start to decline up to a week before AF arrives, lots of dips throughout the two week wait, brown spotting before my period starts etc. I had blood taken on CD6 of my last cycle and it was shown to be a little low then, but my GP didn't say or do anything about it. I'm not going back to see him until next month if I don't get my BFP before then.

Has anyone got any tips?

:dust:

Sadly haven't got any tip's but am also interested to see others responses.

I notice that my luteal phase changes from month to month, I've got an appt with a fertility doctor in two weeks, so I might raise it with them. As my GP didn't take much notice and didn't think it was a problem. I've had CD2 and CD21 blood tests done which i'll be getting the results from so hopefully that might shed some light. If I have any luck i'll let you know

It was my understanding that luteal phase is more of a problem if it is very short?

Hiya, I'm on my 13th month ttc with low progesterone. From what I've read agnus (vitex) and vitamin b6 r supposed to help increase levels. However I'm only taking the vitamin cos Im being investigated for treatment- I'm having a hcosy scan to check my tubes before they will give me ovulation treatment.

Has ur doc said whether they think ur ovulating??

Good luck xx

Yes, he's sure that I'm ovulating, and I've never doubted it either to be honest.

I've been recommended a cream by someone who was in the same boat as I am now. It worked for her, so I'm going to give it a try this cycle. It's called Natpro if anybody is interested  xx

If you want to find out about your progesterone levels then a blood test 7 days after ovulation is what you need.
I am currently on Cyclogest (it helps) and have also just started taking B6 vitamins.
Best wishes,
Amber
