I don't think my baby's growing

I went to the doctor this week for my 18 week appt. He said my uterus was 2 fingers below my belly button. I had 16 oz. of water an hour before he felt my uterus. I went to the bathroom 10 minutes before. When I feel my uterus, it's three fingers below my belly button and that's where I've been feeling it for three weeks. I have my 20 week ultrasound Thursday, but I can't shake this feeling that the baby isn't growing and they will tell me it's way behind in growth. Irrational I know. What are your thoughts?

It does not sound like you should be alarmed. I know they say at 20 weeks your uterus is navel height, but even that is an "average". Everyone's different. I think you have no reason to worry. I wish you well at your next appt!!

I'm not convinced about the accuracy of fundal height before 20 weeks hon.

If you can't make it til Thursday are you able to speak to your medical team about your worries in the meantime? x

I'm not convinced about fundal height full stop! You have your scan soon, that is more accurate.
