So i had my D&C on Aug 14th and we have been TTC since i have been off pelvic rest after the D&C. Yesterday night i took Test and it came back with a very faint positive !! I'm just worried it could be left over HCG levels though what do you guys think?? I have been doing OPK and for the last 5 days it says im peak fertility. I'm so confused and i dont want to get my hoped up just yet.

It's hard to tell if it's the first time you've tested. Only way you will be able to tell is if the tests get darker or by blood tests. Good luck!

The opks pick up hcg so that'll be why they're positive

Did u test out the HCG first before you did the OPK. Because the opk will come back positive with HCG in your system.

well before i started having the peak fertility days had had three days i tested prior to that saying i wasnt ovulating or in my peak fertility. I use the clear blue test and it was just giving me the blank circle basically saying sex is just for fun

The fact you had negative OPKs before testing positive makes me think it could very well be a new pregnancy. This is one reason docs tell you to wait, because it causes confusion like this - but you will know in a few days if it gets darker My OPKs were blazing positive until I truly ovulated - mine were picking up HCG.

I'd say it's a new pregnancy, but like you is be a little cautious. Hope the lines get darker for you 😊

I think i am go to the doctors today and have them do a blood test, both my me and my husband are like holding our breath. Im so glad i have this forum cuz im too scared to tell anyone even my parents just in case

thank you i went to the doctor and had my blood drawn so fingers crossed i get good news

So i went to the doctor my HCG quant levels were at 26 so i have to go back in 48 hrs to see if they move up or down pray for up !!

So I took another at home test and it was still a faint line not really much darker or lighter, but also the line that says the test worked was a lot lighter as well so idk guess I will just have to wait till Monday 😒 honestly I'm starting to lose hope that my levels are going up
