I did try it the other night just to see what it felt like and it felt like someone was squeezing my nipple

Is it just cause obviously I have no milk to express?

lol... ya, dont use it yet... wait until your baby is here. As long as you have it latched properly it doesnt hurt. Bfing my baby hurt way more.
