So..

the doctor said it was negative and that it could still be too early to be positive and that there is a chance I could be pregnant. She thinks I'm going to get my period because of the Mild/dull cramping I've been having the past 5 days, I think it's bullshit, I've never had cramping like this before!

She also said that AF may not even come until around mid November because of coming off BC!

I'm sad and crushed:cry:

I give up too babe. :hug. It's never going to happen for me til I get the 5,000 to fork up to have an mini IVF or tubal ligation. But, I'll stick around to help others.

It can take awhile for BC pills to come out of your system too hunny. But, they say some woman get pregnant quicker after quitting so 1-3 months after. So there is still hope for you to get pregnant faster than most.

your body is weaning itself off of bc so it can take up to 6 weeks for af to come after you've stopped taking it unfortunately. do you know if you've ovulated? i would keep bd'ing but chances are the cramps is your body getting used to not having the hormones from the pills and gearing up ready to do things for itself

So sorry you are feeling this way funny how the pill works I missed one when I was 17 I now have a 17 yr old daughter to show for that x

i know I ovulated around sept. 8th I was tracking CM

Aww hun. :hugs: I'm sorry. But if it helps at all, I felt like this after my 2nd month trying, but I slowly grew to the point of being more relaxed about it and now I feel a lot better. Even though I have medical issues, I am going to tackle them head on now and without the added worry of "OMG, I need to be pregnant NOW", its a lot easier to deal with.

CM is not always accurate too because a lot can affect it. Have you tried BBTing? For me, that's been the most accurate. Even OPKs don't always pick it up for me, but so far my BBTs have been consistent.

From what I understand you have only been ttc for a month.I'm sure you know it USUALLY takes longer. Especially if your just coming off bc.I understand your frustration though! My boyfriend and I have been trying for almost 5 months and it feels like we will never have a children.I am going to try the Softcup next month if AF shows up this week.maybe look into those too?? Good luck!

Fertile looking CM definitely does not always mean that you have ovulated. You should look into charting and using opk's. This will give you a better idea of what is going on with your body. I've seen sooooo many anovulatory charts where women had a number of days with EWCM, but no ovulation.

Still, you haven't even finished your first tww yet. Too early to be giving up, girl!

aww :hugs: sorry to hear you feel ths way chick never give up ok,, just because u got a neg from the doc and cud be posibley early doesnt mean to say its the end hun seriously coming off BC can also take time for your body to adjust back to its normal self its not going to happen over night even tho you want it to and that can feel like a downfull but seriously never give up and never feel sad or alone or doubting yaself because there is a chance you cud still possibley be preggys just dont so so upset positive thoughts hun and think bright not dull dont get
upset neither like wat afterglow says i agree with her about looking into BBT im only a beginner at BBT this is my first month of trying it after 2 months of TTC and im so amazed already what my BBT has told me https://www.fertilityfriend.com/ i was introduced to fertility friend and it detected my ovulation when i thought i ovulated on CD14 and i dint i think i ovulated on CD19 so its kinda gave me a clue to wen i ovulated but i had neg opks but prehahps i was testing at the wrong times chin up hunni and never give up ok ur not alone best of luck and lots of :dust:

p.s some of the girls surgested i use fertilityfriend on here so i just signed up to it iv given u the link so u can click on it hun hope that helps alittle best of luck!! :) i shall keep my fingers croxxed for u :dust: ohh and another thing i thought id just mention when and it you buy a thermometer DONT get a cheapy one that reads fever temps etc get a good one from boots or off e,bay i have heard the ones that detect fever temps etc are not very good or designed for BBT i got mine from boots which cost £9.99 but i think you cud probs get it loads cheaper if you ordered it off e,bay :) im thinking weither to order one of those microscope saliva tests next month to detect ovulation if im haven no sucess with opks mm have a browsey on interent hun and look at sum fertility things you could by to help detect your ovulation F.F IS REALLY USEFUL ;)

Hey Liz, sorry ur feeling so down. I just wanted to add that ewcm by itsself doesn't mean much unfortunately. I bbt, used opks and tracked cp and cm our first 2 months ttc, but as i got pregnant the first month and lost it, the whole temping thing made me really obsessive about ttc, (though its very accurate) so the 3 rd month I just kept an eye on my cm and cp, and used opks. I found opks and cp the most accurate reflection for me. But the temping was very useful to confirm I was ovulating, and meant I got to know my cycles. As pp said fertilityfriend is great, just try not to get too obsessed like I did, my boyf hated it!But for me the cm could vary, or be days out.

Also, as others have said, it does sound like ur body is getting used to coming off the bcp. Pls keep us updated though, when did u last test? Did u buy some on payday? The ones that say pregnant or not are the best, at least u get a solid answer.

GL! X x

I have to wholeheartedly agree with the previous posters. Checking CM alone is not enough. I get fertile CM at random times in my cycle not just before/during ovulation. I really rec you start temping. It can help you confirm ovulation. OPKs are good too but they also do not confirm that ovulation took place only that your body is gearing up to ovulate which could possibly not end up happening. It took us 4 months and I was really frustrated the first month b/c I really expected to fall easily. Good luck!

Hi sorry to hear your finding it all so down heartening I haven't got much more to add really as the pp have said some really useful things. I know I have only been TTC for 2 months so am now expert but maybe you need to try and relax a little bit and not get so obsessive...I know this is something you really really want and saying 'relax' is really condescending but honestly people on here have been trying for a long long time so think you just need to put things into perspective a little as it's only your first month TTC and you've recently come of BC. My last cycle was 44 days and only just on my second cycle after BC now so god knows how long it'll last but its just what BC does to alot of people and I completely feel the same it's really frustrating and annoying and you just want a baby NOW but getting like this isn't going to help in anyway. Like some PP said you should try tracking your BBT and maybe use OPK as my CM was crazy last month after coming off BC so you may not have ovulated. How is your partner dealing with all this? Is he as stressed as you? I'm sorry if I come across as mean or uncaring I really mean no malicious intention I am just a bit concerned you are getting a bit engulfed by all of this which is completely natural but not really that healthy. I still have my fx'd for you for that BNP xx

WSS^^ CM is not a good way to do it as it changes all throughout your cycle.. you get get fertile cm after ov, and "post o"/creamy/sticky cm before ov.. Your body can also try to ov and fail, it sucks.

Sorry to hear you're upset :hugs: It does take awhile for the body to get used to being off the pill. I'd keep on temping and things and hopefully you will ovulate soon or get your bfp if you already ov'ed. Maybe you will ov soon since you've had cramping? If you get AF this cycle (which I hope you dont), may something like vitex or soy isoflavones will help regulate your cycles. Hope you figure it out soon xx

i quit too its too much worrying for anybody to try and deal with..plus i got otha important things that i have to worry about..if it happenes it just happen but im done trying....
