I had ectopic pregancy

I has ectopic in january what happened was i was in so much pain and bleeding for 2 weeks that i just suffered it because i thought it was just a bad period i was having. Then it got worse i had to go into hospital and they offered me a jag that would save my tube instead of having surgery.
So i decided i would go with that,i was bleeding for over a month and i still havent had a period since? Im starting to worry cause ive had some stomach pain it comes and goes?
And i did a test on friday there and it was negative.
so im not really sure when my period is due and im all mixed up with them?

Has anyone been in this situation?

i've been in exactly the same situation. i had the jab 18th November, finally stopped bleeding mid dec and didn't get a period until around 43 days later. i'm now on to the next cycle day 47, no period and negative tests..... I'm afraid my story is not inspiring! I also get pains frequently down my lower right side (near wherer your ovaries are).
The care from the hospital has been atrocious..... I went to the docs early Feb and got no answers...... I've booked to go and see a lady doctor a week on Thursday, hopefully she will be more sympathetic and try to give me some answers!!

All this said, there may be someone on here who can tell you a totally different story, I suppose everyone is different.

I cant help you concerning the injection as i opted for surgery and i lost my right tube..

I too like lou had the surgery although i didn't even get a choice. Have you had a check up with your dr since the jab?

Hi there I didnt get a choice either because I ruptued, however the treatment you have had is terrible.
Why dont you call the consultant that did the injection and ask for answers? Cut the GP etc out of the equation.

I had to go back and ask for answers as the consultant only spoke to me while I was coming round after the anaesthtic and I couldnt remember a thing! Its not good enough to send patients packing after something as traumatic as this.
I hope you get your answers and I am think of you XXXXX

Im amazed that i never got a follow up appointment either,,, terrible when your scared and unsure of the future!

Yes i was at mt gp on friday and she gave me antibliotics because of my stomach cramps.
And after the ectopic i was attending the hospital i day a week for 6 weeks until my hormone levels had went back down to 10 or under.
But i got discharged on my 4th week cause my hormone level was at 2 so didnt need to see me anymore,im just worried because my period hasent came yet and is it normal for it to take this length of time?

Hi ya hun, it can take 6- 10 weeks for normal cycle to resume, everyone is different.

My AF never arrived after EP and i found out that just 4.5 weeks after the op i was pregnant.. (like a mini miracle)..
