Expecting a little one!!

Im late posting this but i had my baby girl Carys Brooke Jones on wednesday the 9th may at 4am at 37 weeks. She weighed 7lb 5oz and she has a mop of jet black hair 
On monday Morning i was sat on the sofa watching the tv and my OH was also there, i felt a bit of a trickle and i thought av i pee'd myself slightly? and more kept trickling.. i looked at my other OH and said " i can feel trickling " he looked up at the ceiling and said " ohh dont say that now!!!" i went nooo not the bloody ceiling .. ME!!! LOL he only thought i said the ceiling was leaking. i ran up the stairs and as i got to the toilet my waters went..i was shouting to the OH, he came up and took one look at me standing with my trousers to my ankles and started panicking in getting things ready lol! the kids went into the nextdoor neighbours house and my mum came over to take over nd off me and my OH went, i was so not organised with my case because i didnt expect my waters to go at 36+6.
i got to the hospital and was put on the monitor to watch babies heartbeat, and took a swab of my cervix for some reason and had to go on to the maternity ward and stay in on a sliding scale because im a type 1 diabetic.. well it felt like the longest 2 days of my life. Monday and tuesday my waters just kept leaking and leaking ..i was in a pickle lol. Tuesday night i was said i was getting the pessary to induce me ..well it should have been tuesday morning but they never stick to their word. well i came over all ill after taking codein to help with an headache and temperature..so the nurse went spoke to the drs and they wasnt happy so told me im off to the labour ward to be started off on a drip to get my cervix dilated. Went up and emma the midwife checked my cervix nd said it was high up and not ready..but was stretchy! she said i dont understand why ur here tbh and was awful appologetic and saying id complain about being left this long to have a pessary. anyways i had tohave some fluids into me before i had the pessary because i was dehydrated, soon as that was sorted they gave me a pessary around 1am and had to be sent back down on the other ward.. me and oh had a single room thankgod so went in there and the pains just crept up on me all of a sudden.. within 30 mins i was hitting the roof and screaming with the pain..i couldnt breathe through it..nothin would help. my oh got emma the MW and she checked me and said ud better come bck up love..so they took me up and i was checked and id dilated to 5cm already. i cant remember how long after i was checked but it wasnt long i was beggin for an epidurol but they gave me pethidine while i waited for the epi. I was histerical and couldnt cope, they had to clip a thing onto babies head because they couldnt tell which was my heartrate and which was babies. they were all battling with me and i began pushing and couldnt stop myself, they were sayin dont push your body isnt ready kirsty..i was adamant and said i have too its not my fault..well they checked me and i was fully dilated. i gave a few pushes and carys brooke jones was born at 4am wednesday morning, she was beautiful. my partner took her and dressed her and gave her a feed while i was having a few stitches.
i have to say ..but this was my 2nd time in giving birth and that was worse lol but it was all worth it now she's here!
