My son spends 3 nights at his Dad's every week. Every week he comes back overtired having not napped properly (if at all) for the time he's been with him.

He fell asleep in the car on the way home but he needed his tea so I woke him up, he had his tea and a run around and I put him down at 7 but he's overtired and crying. I've been up and tried to comfort him. I think he might have finally gone to sleep now

He has to go and see his Dad (court thing) but I just wish I didn't get the brunt of his bad parenting :coffee:

have u spoken to ur ex bout this?
he might not know he's doin anythin wrong nd just needs to be told!!
xx

I agree you should deff talk to him if you havent already...

If you have maybe you should keep you son up while he is with you and then let him deal with an over tired 2 year old to see how he likes it :haha:

xx

yeah we've spoken about it. I admit that sometimes LO doesn't have brilliant naps in the day with me but I swear he must sleep so bad when he's at his Dad's...he comes home so tired and Monday is just awful for us...every week.

We have a kind of mediator who's meant to help us with the custody arrangement, I'll speak to her about it but twice now she's cancelled coming to see me :growlmad:

This is something I dread when Lola does start going to FOBs. I know he won't stick to her routine and she'll come home tired. Or he'll let her nap at like 6pm and she won't go to bed til midnight!

Hope you get it sorted :hugs:

:hugs: I think you should speak to him, Kinda make it seem like he comes up with the idea of better naps and proper bedtime.. if he thinks hes come up with it and decided it then he might be more inclined to do it. x
