Went to the docs today. Big ripe old egg ready to pop showed on the ultrasound. Would be a Only bding hasn't gone to well. My poor DH is feeling the pressure and can't manage the deed!

I try not to tell DH when I am ovulating...it keeps him guessing. I try to make it fun too. Tell him you already did...pressure is off.

Maybe I shouldn't let on when I ov - but we don't exactly have huge sex drives and only tend to do it around ov so would be difficult to hide.


I got my LH sure this morning - will it be ok to bd early tomorrow morning?

Yes tomorrow morning will be fine. I had to orchestrate an early morning oral wake up call (if you know what I mean!) last month, and I have taken all the old opks out of the bin, so he cant see that I am testing. Has worked so far this month but he is to have sperm analysis before the fs appointment next week and is doing nothing about it, for this very reason. Very annoying! Good luck, I hope you catch it tomorrow, bear in mind you dont ov for 12-36 after surge so your timing could be spot on. XXX

Well ladies looks like this month is out!


DH wanted to sleep in this morning which really pissed me off as we had agreed to get up together and bd before he went to the doctors at 9. I completely over reacted but can't help it. Have had an almighty row - sort of made up and tried again which was a complete failure. Now I can't stop crying. I HATE THIS!!!!


I know I need to relax the pressure but I feel so awful I can't!!!

Aw hun. I'm sorry. I think next month you go undercover! Dont mention trying for a baby as far as you can, even it it means going to appointment on your own, and then maybe plan a nice evening once the follie is ready to go.

There is so much pressure on men and it is sometimes too much for them. We are lucky getting to lie back and do nothing!

I dont think you would be totally out if you tried again tonight ( if its feasible?) if not plan B for next month.

TTC does suck fortunately my DH doesn't suffer from pressure but at the moments its me who can't be bothered!!! Must tell myself everyday - must BD must BD!!!

Thanks for your support girls. My DH is lovely and has apologised for being lazy and I have apologised for being over the top! We are going to try again later so hopefully we won't be too late. Defo need to go undercover next month though! This pressure is awful. I can't really be bothered either! I hate it when the doctors say - 'This should be fun!' Well it's bloody not and i hate it!!

It isnt fun. Can I confess something else? I dont think sex will ever be fun again!

My mum called me up while I was in sainsburys yesterday, claiming to have the answer to getting pregnant......(I hate when she talks about sex, I revert to being a giggly teenager). Yup the answer was to have more orgasams! I have never pushed a trolley so quickly up the dairy isle!

I am thinking I may never have another orgasm again (not that I had them ever time anyway!).

My oh who used to be ready for sex at any time finds it hard to raise a smile these days never mind raising anything else!

As for undercover I generally dont believe in deception however if both parties want a baby I think its poetic license not to confess to ovulating! The end justfies the means and all that!!!

He was asked by my gp to have sperm analysis done three weeks ago. He was told to call his gp that day to arrange, and here we are due to attend our appointment to discuss SA, and he hasnt been! Now that attempt to get him to perform I am really not looking forward to!

Isn't it weird how everyone thinks having loads of sex is fun and that having orgasms is easy!!! Don't get me wrong - I did enjoy sex when I felt like it before - but timed sex on demand is horrendous!!! I have had 1 friend (who got pregnant 1st time) say - 'Well just don't have sex like that'. I'm sorry to say that I snapped her head off in response - what would she know about it!!! If 1 more person says relax and enjoy it I will happily throttle them!!!

Also I have been in the same situation with the sample - it took me months to talk my DH round to giving a sample. He was petrified - poor thing!! Good luck with you appointment.

I am off to Iceland with DH for a few days today so that should help us to relax a bit. We managed to do it around midday after all so hopefully we didn't miss it.

Care bear im the same i get to the point where i really cant be bothered, i want a baby more than anything but after all the time we have been ttc, it gets to the stage where i feel like i cant be bothered.

I know what your saying about the sex thing! Its the most un-sexy thing ever! In order to try and get us in the mood we actually try porn on in the background. It does work a bit.
My DH struggles to do it every other day for 3 days so its really hard. Its the pressure he can't handle and i totally understand. I don't understand people who can do it everyday or even twice a day for the month!

Just got back from hols and had the best time ever! We were laughing as most couples would be at it when they were away - we were just soooooooo relieved not to have to do it!!

I'm with you on that 1 Milliemoo - how on earth do those couples keep it up! (Quite literally! Ha ha!) I just don't have the energy and I'm glad to hear I'm not the only 1 ! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
