My fertility clinic said that my blood tests show I have PCO and the scan showed a large cyst in my right ovary which I think I have had for the last 2-3 years as I have had periodic sharp pains on the right side. They think that it will shrink and grow and I dont ovulate. Also, my lining is too thick and the nurse doesnt think that I am bleeding properly and I dont have proper periods....does anyone else have this? Is there a treatment for it?

can you remove it by surgery ?

i just had a polyp removed last friday...was causing really bad pain during my periods and ovulation time and spotting in mid cycle...and of course no bfp...

Aww I hope your op went well. Its good to finally know the reason for some wierd pains. I thin kI have had thiis cyct for 2-3 years and it has been bursting about 2-4 times a year where I get so much pain I feel like I will pass out :(

I just saw the consultant today...he said he wasnt worried about the cyst...it had grown to 17mm today!! I really dont want surgery so I really hope it will resolve on its own. I have been prescribed clomid today though Yay!!....it means I am on the road to treatment and hopefully a BFP :)
