Hi ladies, i recently had LO december 14th (due date dec 17th). He was 8pounds 8 ounces and i am so inlove. Honestly i didnt enjoy the pregnancy too much because of all my horrible symptoms and i said i would not miss being pregnant, nor would i ever have another child lol, pregnancy hormones.
But now i REALLY miss it. I learned to appreciate everything that came with my pregnancy.. the bad, the worst and the horrible! Giving life and the whole process of it is so beautiful. I still cant believe i birthed a baby that once lived within me.
I have intense baby fever, i want another child nowwww. Im so jealous of everyone in the pregnancy forums because they are about to experience something so hard but beautiful.
Does anyone else have baby fever so soon after giving birth? I want another child so badly but im not ready :(

Yes, yes and yes.
We are going to start trying again in may I want them close together. I love everything about baby joe. I love the smell his little faces that he needs me 100% I just can't wait for another. I love him so much.

I feel exactly the same but I know we are not ready, I said I wanted a big age gap but my heart is telling me to try now! I will try to hold off for a bit longer, I'm insanely jealous of pregnant women!!!

We are trying now lol, (our son is 18 weeks tomorrow) but last month my cycle (first cycle) only had a 7 day luteal phase so mine are still settling. I'm 12 dpo this time and still no af so hoping I'm getting back to normal and we manage to conceive soon! I miss being pregnant loads and can't wait to add to our family, if we are lucky enough:) good luck everyone xxx

I had baby fever for weeks/months after the birth. I still have it from time to time!!

So glad im not the only one. Its going on 10 weeks pp and still no af, which is probably a good thing for now because im totally not ready for another one yet.
And its great having kids close in age. Good luck and baby dust to anyone trying for another

I had my 2nd baby 9 days ago. Definitely my last as we can't afford another and have no room in the house for another.
Plus I had the pregnancy from hell and was so so ill!

Was adamant this he's my last. Buuuuuut now he's here - I'm loving it and the thought that this is the last time I'll have a baby and experience these feelings is making me so sad!
Doesn't help that OH would want ten kids if I agreed!!

I felt like that immediately after having Imogen up until about 2 weeks ago! Now it seems to have settled a bit :-) I love her so much and now not even sure if I will have another! I'm sure we will but not for a while now the hormones have settled lol x

Yes! I went past my antenatal clinic yesterday and it really hit me seeing all those pregnant ladies and how gorgeously with bump they were. but no more for me which makes it even harder :(

I felt like this just a day after having my daughter. 11 weeks later it has settled down a little. I think the thought of being pregnant and giving birth again makes me want another NOW rather than having two babies...
And obviously you can't and wouldn't have one without the other. So in definitely waiting for a while until I sort my career out first! I think it definitely is hormones and also the adrenaline rush/ high you get off having a baby and giving birth which makes you want to do it over and over again!

Yes! My LO was born last month and I really want another but I think my husband would be happy with just the one child. My pregnancy was pretty hard going but I loved it really, although the whole time I was pregnant I was jealous of all the women with their babies!

Even though my son is a nightmare I really want another! I have to wait until 2016 though as I don't think I could manage 3 under 3 or another close age gap for that matter it's to hard!

Also to answer the question. I think it goes both ways. A larger baby has more reserved if they get unwell for a long period of time do I guess they can cope better in that respect but a very large baby may be delayed in crawling and walking... I don't think it really has as many health impacts for a baby as it would bring 'over weight' for an adult!
Also doctors are more bothered by the jump in percentiles rather than the actual percentile. If a baby is born in the 90th percentile and stays there a doctor won't be concerned but if a baby who isn't prem Is born on the 5th percentile and stats around there for months and months and immediately jumps to the 100th it could but not always be a cause for concern

You know I thought id add that my oh and I decided to NTNP for now. Though it's unlikely id get pregnant as I've not ovulated yet (probably due to bf)... But if it does happen we will be happy! <3

Lo is 6months friday just got my bfp at 10 dpoxxx

This is me exact. I hated being pregnant, but now with LO 3 weeks old, I want another so bad.
