I am so nervous as I think I've worked out the reason for my 3 m/c's. After I had Beau i was tracking my cycles and most months my luteal phase is 9 days. On a good month however it's 10/11 days. Should I tell the consultant this?

Does anyone else have a shortish luteal phase? Is there anything that can be done to help?

Sorry for all the questions it's just this appointment has crept up on me and now I'm in panic.

Just wanted to say good luck with the appointment.

I would definately tell the consultant any information you have regarding your cycle. They should ask you anyway when I had mine he asked me all sorts of questions regarding my cycle, period, length, how AF looks, whether I get lots of pain during AF. etc etc.... also how often we BD.

I was really nervous with my appointment and had to wait for 1.25 mins after the time of my appointment cause they were running late. Just what I needed but the specialist was very nice when I eventually got to see him.

My luteral phase tends to be 13-14 days on average but not that it has helped me get my BFP.

Good luck babe, the fs is given me clomid in May to help my lp, apparently it helps :hugs:

rather give too much info than too little, every litrle bit helps :)

Hey good luck today. I have heard that the luteal phase should be between 11-13 days. You should definately talk to your doctor about that and they can prescribe progesterone to help with that. If you can take your charts with you to show them what your cycle looks like, then they will have a better idea of what your body has been doing. Good luck again!

There is a herb/vitamin supplement you can take to help lengthen it, I'm not sure what it is though, good luck with the dr. xx

Hi Snowball, I want to wish you luck tomorrow at your appointment. I'm at my first RMC appointment with the Consultant too and am so nervous all the questions are swimming around in my head!

:hug:Good luck sweetie....I would mention it to him, I would also write questions down that you may have so you don't forget anything x x x x

At my consult, I brought my charts with me incase it would help her identify a trend and she said based on my charts, my MC history, and blood work, she was able to indentify the likely issue and I got put on Clomid right away. I would say for SURE tell the doc everything that comes to mind. Don't be shy either. Ask a TON of questions!!!

Good Luck!!!

Hi, I don't know the answer but I wanted to wish you lots of luck for tomorrow.

Good luck with your appointment hun! As for your LP, a lot of women use b vits to lengthen it. The dose seems to be trail and error, anything from 25mg to 200mg a day.. a lot more than they put in pre natal vits! Seems to work tho, have a read through here! https://www.babyandbump.com/ttc-pro...gthen-luteal-phase-increase-progesterone.html

Good luck snowball. I say take your charts for sure. Hope it goes well.
