Honestly, Daisy and her toys have taken over my house! The corner where my tree goes has a playhouse and a million toys in it....

I suggested getting rid of one of my sofas , OH wasnt impressed!

Can you store her toys anywhere for a while so your tree can go there?

I'm having the same problem. I am however making sure DH sticks to his promise of a bigger tree this year so out goes the dining table  good job we are having dinner at my sisters this year

I think this is what is going to have to happen! My bedroom is the only place so she will have to use that as a toyroom, oh joys!

 I wanted a bigger tree this year too! Might wait till we move house though!

The size was his way of making up for the fact that we can't have a real one this year, Edward will end up with pine fresh poo otherwise

Were going to have to rearrange the house to get the tree in our living room.

Kids have to many toys lol!

 Same here , but every year we get rid of the old toys as we get so many new ones , so we have a xlearout just before x-mas :)

I was just thinking this earlier.Where I had the tree last year is now a huge wooden trunk I hide all the toys in,a wooden ELC bead table thing and a dolls house..Nightmare!x

We are moving one of the sofas out of the living room to fit ours in :)

i know you were joking but we just did get rid of one of our sofas to make some space

I have space for mine because when I moved back to Edmonton I didn't bring much furniture, but my worry is... Is Helena gonna try to climb the tree, take everything off, etc. Is the tree gonna fall on her? Is there a contraption to stop trees from falling over? My cats were fine, its Helena thats gonna be the trouble maker. Oh and I have a huge tree that touches my ceiling pretty much so it WILL squish her.

Sorry for hijacking your thread. But does anyone have any suggestions for keeping a hyperactive toddler away from the tree?

Not a suggestion to keep a hyperactive child away from the tree but maybe keep the tree from the child, or at least sturdy. I'm sure I have seen wall mounted trees?? that could have just been a dream though, if it was wipe the suggestion from your mind I'm gonna market it next year and make a mint

We are not having one ..unless i get a new tv that goes on the wall to free up a corner

I was just thinkin the same thing its bloody ridiculous!!! WE are always re-arranging our front room, so that things can fit in like toys, animals, sofas, lol and now the tree damn forgot all about that, no idea whats going to happen there, might have to invest in a small one, theres no way our 6ft one will fit anywhere!!
