I hope I am not being insensitive but what does Rainbow baby mean?

I am fairly new to this forum and have tried to look up what I can in this section of the forum...

I've seen alot of people have tickers etc about Rainbow babys and just wonder what it means?

Yes it does mean baby after a loss.
Rainbow represents the bible story of Noah's ark where God sent a rainbow as a symbol of his promise not to flood the earth. I guess it's a similar thing where mums hope they will get their rainbow.
