I miscarried on weds at 10 weeks after ttc for 18 months and got admitted to hospital that night. I'm home now and didn't need a d+c but just don't know what to do or feel.

I'm still all crampy and just keep having flashbacks to the little sac that i just didn't expect to see (don't know what i expected really!)

My oh has been great as have my friends and family but are suggesting i do something to take my mind off it all. It feels wrong to want to enjoy myself but it's got to be better than sitting here in tears

Oh sweetheart :hugs:

I know what you mean about it feeling wrong to want to enjoy yourself, I have to keep trying to take my mind off Seb, not because I dont want to think about him, but because he wouldn't want me to be in pieces because he's always going to be with me in my heart.

I know everything feels bleak right now, but slowly it won't be so bleak... I can't say it'll be better, but you'll feel more at peace x

We're all here for you sweetheart :hugs::hugs:

I'm so sorry for your loss.
In my experience a miscarriage is very much like a bereavement. Everybody handles it in different ways. I felt completely lost and alone. But time really is a healer. I know I will never forget my tiny baby, but it's easier to live with my experience now.
Take care of yourself.
x

sorry you are going through this, i think it takes a while for everything to catch up when you have a shock like that-it is good to do things to keep you going but also you will need time to yourself, hope you are getting both as well as lots of love and support. I was shocked by lots of things that happened when i m/c, like you said i guess if i had thought about it they would have been expected but they certainly werent at the time
take care and give yourself time, its really early days for you
