I just feel so sad

I've had a scan last week, sac was measuring 5 week's which pretty much isn't possible, first hcg was 2800 second 3400 so only 25% rise, I have another draw tomorrow but obviously it's a failing pregnancy... I'll have another scan in the week too but I'm just so down about it, it wasn't planned and home life is so stressful atm, this was our good in the storm, I'm so so worried that it's possibly a genetic thing as my husband has low morphology, I'm terrified of going through this again, this year has been the worst of my life and I can't wait for it to be over.

Can we just fast-forward a few weeks so we can start trying again?

Hi ameeann. We were in the July group together for a brief period. I also had a natural mc late last week. I'm so sorry that we are both here. It's only been 3 days, but I'm feeling better each day, too. I don't have advice to offer, tbh, or words of wisdom. But just a thank you for sharing a bit about what happened, and the update to say you're feeling better. Oh sherii I'm so sorry you're here too but yes the bleeding has pretty much stopped and I went for, what's hopefully, my last blood test today... It's lasted about 10 days and tbh, I'm just eager for it to stop and to get on with things, don't get me wrong, I still have my moments, in the most random of places but I'm feeling much better within myself and like it never happened in a way! I hope you start to feel better soon sweet xxx

yes!!! I have moments 'did that even actually happen?' I think because I only knew about it for a couple of weeks, and I feel normal again (no symptoms etc) it's almost easy to forget that it's not just AF tapering off. I took a couple days off work, so going back tomorrow and getting to the routine back will probably help move on as well.

I'm sorry you've been bleeding so long. I'm on day 6 since spotting, and it's lightened a lot. I know what you mean in just wanting it to be over and done with. It's almost cruel how long it takes to happen. It's a reminder every time you feel it, or see it, or have to deal with it in some way. I'm just sorry it happens, and happened. I feel like this is a common thing, but people just don't talk about it much.

Tbh, I'm sort of treating it more as a gynea problem now, it was easier for me to handle! The bleeding has finally stopped, it was just spotting for days! Lol


It's definitely more common than spoke about, it happen to my best friend just a couple of months a go too!
Unfortunately it's just one of those things we can't control, which I find is the best way to be looking at it tbh!

I've been thinking of mine as a particularly bad period, though it's just spotting now. I keep thinking it's over and then there's a little spot. I've never known anyone who experienced this, so while I knew it was a possibility I didn't think it would actually happen. Regardless, I'm feeling very optimistic about the coming months of ttc. I'm glad yours has stopped, and that you have a friend who can surely relate to what you're going through. You'll be back to ttc in no time!
