I posted on here yesterday as I am 4 weeks and been having brown spotting and discharge and cramping just like I had when I started bleeding at my mmc a few months ago so I know it isn't looking good :( . My other mcs I had no bleeding until the mc started with bright red blood, and I didn't spot when had my one successful pregnancy.

Still spotting when I wipe in the loo and got cramps coming and going, I would say they are severe but not unbearably so. I just went to the loo and this time when I wiped there was a tiny brown clot with some stringy mucus, because it was brown I don't know what to think!

Hi hun. :hugs: Without actually going in for hcg levels and a scan there's really no way to tell exactly what is going on. I don't want to sound harsh but the odds are not in your favor if you are experiencing cramps and bleeding even if it's light. That being said, I have heard of women having those symptoms, that did not miscarry. The 2 early losses I have had started exactly as you have described. My later losses were MMC or silent miscarriages with no symptoms at all. I'm actually waiting on word to see if this pregnancy is a mmc. :( Loss of symptoms and I cant find a HB with my doppler. The waiting is terriable.

Thanks for your reply. I am sorry for your losses and that you are going through this worry just now. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that all os ok x

I know deep down things aren't looking good for me, I just wish if im going to lose it it would just happen its a waiting game at the moment which is doing my head in.

I feel exactly the same. I won't have a confirmation scan until Wed and it seems like forever away. Thank you for the understanding. Being in the "threatened" miscarriage category is a terrible limbo :hugs:

It is awful to be in this limbo as you can think of nothing else and your head is all over the place. All the best for Wed, I really hope it is good news! x

How are you doing today? Still having bleeding and cramps? I hope things are getting better for you. Have you contacted a doctor to see about an early scan?? Or maybe a blood hcg test?

Broke out the doppler again last night and still nothing. Boobs have deflated and aren't sore at all anymore and no nausea. :nope: Definitely not good signs but there's still that glimmer of hope until Wed. Thank you for the well wishes hun. They are truly appreciated:hugs: Btw, sorry for all the questions, I sorta sound like a busy body:dohh: Please don't answer anything that seems intrusive.

Hi, it's ok, I don't mind you asking, I don't find them intrusive at all. The bleeding has subsided however the cramps are still quite intense, and last night they were in my lower back and I was certain that was it over. I have spoken to my doctor who said she will get me a scan in a fortnight when I am 6 and a half weeks. I asked about a blood hcg test but for some reason she wouldn't and said a scan in a fortnight is the most accurate option at this early stage.

Sorry to hear about your symptoms, however you just never know and sometimes symptoms can disappear and then reappear again. At least you only have a day to go now, but it must be so hard. I really hope you have good news tomorrow, please let me know how you get on, I'll be thinking about you.

Xx

Thanks dear. Thats horrible that you have to wait so long. :hugs: Hoping for the best for both of us.

I hope things turn out ok for you, with my last pregnancy I spotted from when I found out at 4 weeks. I was already under the care of epau because I conceived on the copper coil, had a scan at 5 weeks 6 days, baby was there with a heartbeat, had a huge bleed at 6 weeks 3 days, bright red with clots and was sure I'd miscarried, had another scan at 6 weeks 5 days and found baby with a heartbeat but was still spotting, at 8 weeks I started to lose my pregnancy symptoms so went for a private scan to find baby had died at 7 weeks 5 days.

I was told that the bleeding had nothing to do with my mmc and that no blood was visible in my uterus so they think it was coming from further down in my uterus.

I did have a heamotoma on my first scan which was caused by implantation, they think that caused the big bleed but didn't cause my mmc.

What I'm trying to say is that sometimes bleeding can be ok during pregnancy, I hope this is the case for you xxx
