i need something that will support LO in the bath while he splashes. Oh usually goes in with him but works late a few nights so i have to bath LO alone and he isnt to impressed when he cant have his splash.

So i either need a daddy clone, or something else.....

any suggestions please.

:flower:

I don't know how young your LO is, but I just used to lie Madeline on her back in bath and fill it just a few cms. She would splash her arms and kick her legs like nobody's business. You can get bathing seats - and we had one. But she couldn't splash in it, so we stopped using it at 10 weeks and just lay her on her back instead.

Yep it exists we have this https://www.mamasandpapas.com/product-acqua-bath-support-pearl-whitesoft-lime/4552499/type-i/
My lo loves to splash and it supports him really well leaving our hands free to wash him x

Would this be any good? https://www.mothercare.com/Mothercare-Aqua-Pod/dp/B0011EZ9WS

How old is your LO? I used to use a shaped White plastic support from mothercare, until LO could sit unaided. I think it was about a tenner although I am sure you could get one cheaper on eBay or from asda or something. It supports LO between the legs and under the arms, basically like a reclining chair. It is on the mothercaree website as the ergonomic bath support.

I am the same as BabyJayne, I lay our LO on her back and she loves it! I also have a little chair now for her to sit in but she is 6 months and can sit up fine, but not sure how old your LO is?
x

Madeline absolutely loves the water - especially swimming - and I am sure this helped. She would splash like mad, water would go all over her face etc. but didn't bother her in the slightest. Plus, as you only fill the bath a tiny bit, you save on water

We used to use one of these:

https://www.mothercare.com/Motherca...041&pf_rd_p=231490867&pf_rd_s=related-tab-3-5

until Fran got so big that the bar barely held her bum and when she kicked she slid off it lol. It was very good because you have both hands free to wash and play with LO. Now I just lie her flat on a towel in shallow water xx

Asda a bath rest like the mamas and papas and mothercare one but it's about five quid so MUCH cheaper
Xxx

yip thumbs up for the plastic seat i just started putting junior in the big bath a few weeks ago he loves water 2 and can kick and wave his arms about in this seat think it was from asda my mum got it for him xx

:dohh: he is 5 months old. probably should have mentioned that.

You can get bath seats that are sort of like bumbos but more of a frame so you can reach everywhere. It allows them to sit in the bath. I can't post a link as I'm on my phone, but I know boots stock one that's suitable from 6 months.

Tesco do a bath seat as well, I saw them at the weekend.
