+31 Weeks pregnant I was in hospital my body was going toxic and shutting down I was on a drip for 7 days and couldnt get out of bed eat or drink ,then My sons heartbeat was dropping from 140-160 to 56 for 5 mins , So they had me rushed for a scan and said that if my bloods havent improved then there goign to emergency c me and my son had a bed ready in neonatal and the peaedtrican and so on was coming up to see me and gave him sterioid and Ryan )(fob) didnt even reply to my messages instead took himself down to wembeley for the untied and city match!!!!!!

And today he still saying he wont have anything to do with him Alfie is 3 week old on wednesday and he is demanding a DNA test to prove hes the dad when he knowes full well I told him when I was 4 weeks pregnant and he has only just started payign maintenance for him which is 25pw .. he Is denying hes his Wont put his name on the birth certificate wont speak about him or anything im 20 years old and I find him asking for a dna test is disrespectful and making me out to look like a Slag but no matter what I still hold on to something maybe because its his dad !! Last night I was bathing Alfie and was crying because I can see his dad in him and it makes me feel like a failure and just another satistic :/

I just looking for advice or if anyone else been in a similar situation:shrug:

You poor thing. sounds like you have tried soooo hard to be reasonable and give him every opportunity to be involved and all he has done is thrown it back in your face and behave like a dick.

You are not a failure, HE IS.

My situation is quite different to yours and currently my FOB is stepping up to the mark, (for now anyway)

Big hugs and try not to let the f**er get you down xx

Hon, your hormones are just going crazy right now. For me, the hardest time was the first four months. I just didn't feel like myself emotionally. I would drive and bawl, cry the second I was alone. Every. Single. Day. I felt the same way. That she looked just like her dad and life was over because I would have a broken family if he didn't come to his senses. Once you get over the emotional roller-coaster, you will realize that if this guy isn't stepping up to the plate, he's just not her dad anymore. Maybe genetically...but not really.

Remember...he's the fucking failure who couldn't be a man and a father. You are the one who is raising HIS child...waking up at night with him, feeding him, comforting him and doing everything that baby needs on your own. YOU are not the failure. You're that baby's hero. His father is the statistic. Just another deadbeat dad trying to elude his responsibility. Keep your chin up and try to enjoy your son as much as possible. Once your hormones straighten out, you'll feel better. And once you stop blaming yourself for your son only having one parent - when he wouldn't have ANY parent if it weren't for you - you'll feel the same rage I do lol. I figure after the anger stage comes the acceptance and forgiveness. I'm not quite there yet...and my LO is nearly a year old.

God, sounds like a right tosser! Im sorry. You seem to have tried so hard to make this work.
Some people are just beyond help!

God, I just don't know how most of these FOB's on this single parents section sleep at night, I really don't. It' so difficult to understand people who are THAT nasty and selfish, it's surreal. To go to a bloody football match when you and his unborn child are in medical danger is beyond comprehension. All I can say is that if that is the way they treat human beings during their lifetime, they are going to have a rough ride of it. I can't speak for my FOB as he is 38 and should bloody know better but I do believe sometimes that some of these younger Dad's in their 20's are going to be full of regret when they get into their 30's and beyond, especially if they want a family in the future, as most of these ladies on here will probably be long gone with lovely new families of their own and the FOB's will be sad and lonely and depressed about 'what could have been'.

and it will sadly serve them right. Its such a shame. Wish they would all grow up!
