I really hope you can shed some light? Reason for positive OPK for 5 days in a row?

As title says, I have 5 consecutive days of positive OPK.
Using Tesco brand ones.
Monday I got a positive and I know I ovulated Tuesday as I had the usual ovulation ovary pain.
Why?

I'm going on 3 days of positive OPKs. It says in the instructions for mine (Rite Aid brand) to stop testing after your first positive so you don't get confused with dates (of course I didn't listen to it lol.) I had O pain around 24 hours after my first positive so I am deeming that my O day. Maybe it just takes longer for the LH to leave our system. I've only got one LH test left so I'm kind of happy I won't be driving myself crazy with them anymore haha. GL

I asked the doc the other day he said take note of the first one ignore the rest opks are so sensitive that they pick up on all the fluctuations after o and they can take a few days to go neg and they can even be positive later in your cycle he said to just ignore them all except the first positive you get x
