I think I got my period, but not sure?

So I was totally sure that I was pregnant, but then today (I'm somewhere between 12-14 dpo) I had some bad cramping and I began to bleed and was sure that it was AF. I put a tampon in and it was uncomfortable so about 5 min later I took it out and there was some bright blood on it (not too much but it was bright like a period) Then I decided to just use a pad and so about 10-15 min later I went to check it and there was nothing... Has this happened and you were still pregnant? This usually doesn't happen when I get my period. There's no way it's implantation bleeding is it? Thanks guys.

apartently implantation really is a few spots, but suppose people are different.

have you tested yet? because you could get a positive at your stage x good luck x

woke up this morning with same predicument small amount of blood not normal sorry tmi but been experiencing back cramps for over 12 days not due till sunday but this has thrown a spanner into the works as i only have a 26 day cycle and this presented 2 days before normally like clock work so could be or just mind games well as bt once said its good to talk

2 days before normal could be implantation if your luteal phase is under 14 days because that would be in the normal range for implantation (5-11 DPO). If you temp and your temps are still up it isn't AF - your temps go down with AF. I'd wait until your AF is normally due (to let the hcg build up in your body if this is implantation, which can take up to 2 days) and test. Or test now if you are impatient like the rest of us!

I think we're in the same situation. I'm currently 13dpo, but I've had very sporadic spotting for the past 4 or 5 days. Not really accompanied by cramping and my temp is still well above the coverline. Unfortunately, I gave into testing yesterday and today...both BFN. I've decided to wait until the official temperature drop since this period is determined to stay light.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you're just having implantation bleeding!

13dpo is still pretty early, give it a few days! Spotting the days before AF can be a sign of low progesterone. Have you gotten that checked? Hopefully it is IB, but if it's not maybe it'd be worth checking out just in case.. I wish you the best of luck hun
