I met my midwife on Saturday 18th Feb at 9 weeks 0d!
She said as soon as she walked in that she had a massive HB vibe! She asked us if we'd thought of one, and I of course said I really wanted one! She jumped for joy, and squealed too!! She said the whole team are dying to do more HBs, because for some reason, they've seen a real dip in HBs here! So yes, I have a whole team of MWs dying to do home births!!
She said though, that they'll have to keep an eye on how big baby gets towards the end. But when she asked how big Ollie was at birth, and I told her 9lb 8.5oz, she seemed to think size wouldn't matter, as I did Ollie on just gas and air in the water!
