I haven't been too bothered about this, but today it's really gotten to me

Since 32 weeks I was told "any time now" after going into pre-term labour, and now 6 weeks later.. NOTHING.

& I know I am not even due yet and there are people really overdue, but I was expecting her 6 weeks ago!

& I also know how lucky I am to have her still cooking away, as it would of been so difficult if she was born at 32 weeks, but UGH!

Everyone is saying "Oh, I thought she'd be here by now, I bet you will go overdue now, wouldn't that be funny?!!!"
NO IT BLOODY WOULDN'T.

I'm sorry for the rant, it's just silly that I can go into labour at 32 weeks, without trying, but when I want to go into labour she stays put!

I've lost my plug, had spotting last night, am in constant pain with SPD & back/period like pain too which isn't helping :( I just want to hold her. ](*,)

aww shes gunna be here before you know it :hugs:
& i dont think you will go overdue if that makes any difference lol:D
xx

i definately don't think she is gona go overdue!!!
she is holding out so that you get a nice peaceful waterbirth

and you have lost your plug!!! that is a definate sign!!!
:hugs:
and
:dust:
xxx

:hugs: aww she will be here soon, i know that doesn't help but at least your at the back end now xx

I dont think it will be long for you, especially if you lost your plug :)

labour :dust: xxxx

Put it this way, if you had your LO at 32 weeks you wouldnt be taking her home - she would go into neonatal.

Don't be sad, dont wish your pregnancy away. I know I did and only had 4 days in 3rd tri :( I know SPD can be a bitch but look at the HUGE positives you have now on your side.

I agree with SB22 at least this way you can take your baby straight home x

she isn't wishing her pregnancy away! she is simply feeling confused that she was told that at this stage she would have a baby about 1 month old... and she had herself prepared, and now she is kind of in limbo!!
don't worry donna, she is coming xxx

aww hun :hugs: I must be hard going from one extreme to the other.. thinking she'll be arriving early, and now having the possibility that she could go overdue. you've had lots of good signs though, so FX'd for you xx
:dust::dust:

I know it sounds crazy, but you will sooo miss being pregnant, loads of people say, "no I won't, god I hate it!" Buttt ya just do, trust me!

Plus just think the extra time baby is in there, the better chance of her lungs being developed etc...she will be here before you know it, so just hang in there!

Not being funny, but I wasnt being rude, just dropping some advice like most of us do.
Mellies right too, you do miss being pregnant. But its worse when you go home with no baby and no baby in your tummy either. Im just telling the OP the positives!!!!!!!

PS: I thought you would understand if you are thought to have a prem like myself

Thanks girls, I do know I am really really lucky she has stayed put till full term & I am so so greatfull for that!

I hope it didn't come across that I wanted her earlier, it's just tough being told one thing, then the complete opposite happening, I think it's just people getting to me, expecting her to be here by now because of what happened.

x

Agree with some of the others, at 32 weeks your baby isn't ready to come out and would probably have to stay in SCBU for a while if born then. It's best to wait, don't wish your pregnancy away, be patient. Your LO will be here soon enough :)

I know sweetie, im sure you are feeling sore and confused but i just wanted to let you know how lucky you are :hugs:

I didnt think that you were ungrateful for her not coming yet and I also didnt think that you wanted her here at 32 weeks....but like sb22 said, shes in the best place she can be.

Hopefully she will be here soon since your officially classed as full term

:dust: hope she's here soon. I know I felt really impatient and hadn't even expected her beforehand.

Also sugarkisses I've only just seen your ticker congrats! X

That was totally uncalled for... actually! I was simply saying that i understand she is confused... and she just wants to hold her little girl. And, no regards as to my own situation... the post was about her, and her story!

Hang in there hun she'll be here before you know it. I know it's uncomfortable and stuff at the end but try make the most of it, I'm feeling so sad right now and broody and would love a nice bump! Make the most of having time to yourself and with OH :D
From what you've said in other threads it sounds very promising that she won't keep you waiting too much longer. :hugs:
