My son started on formula quite early.
Just like all baby's... when he's hungry, he lets you know.
If you are not ready with the bottle however... watch out.
He starts off with a few cries & whining ... but if the bottle
is not served within what he considers to be a reasonable time
frame... he will loose his mind. :hissy:
I can't even describe what the mere sight or accidental
unplugging of his bottle will do. (the exorcist comes to mind)

During our last appointment with his pediatrician, we informed
her that we had just started giving him cereal. She said that
was fine... we could also move on to veggies, fruits & meat pure.
(in that order) She made a point of saying how important it was to
give him his bottle BEFORE his meal... which my son agreed with
whole heartedly.

WELL... my wife came back from the pediatrician on Friday
(I was at the garage with the car... I'm not shirking my duties)
It appears that this "QUACK" is telling us that our son must now
eat his meal :dohh: BEFORE his bottle.

My son... for some reason... does not agree.

Is there anyway to... avoid a crisis on a planetary scale?

I always give Hannah her bottle first, solids seconds. Milk should still be their primary source of nutrition, with solids as a supplement (from what I've been told).

i always used to give riley a bottle before food to start with then changed it as he got older

Yay another montrealer !! welcome

I used to give maxim his bottles first , until he got older and I had a good idea of how much milk he needed during the day , but now at 8 months he still pull fits if his milk is not ready on time lol I think boys are just more demanding then girls lol

sending Hannah your way :rofl::rofl:

So what you're all saying is that ... GASP! I should go against the Pediatrician's orders.!!?? This all sounds very revolutionary to me.

Well alright then... I'm sure you all now best... :amartass:
I'm just wondering how my wife is going to react when I say
"the internet said so... that's who!"

It's cold outside. :cold:

haha just tell your wife , some dr's dont know shit lol

How old is your LO anyway hun ?

Just added the "thing a ma jig" that keeps track of all that... so I don't have too. Isn't technology just great for us forgetful husbands. :dohh:

If he wants his bottle first, give him his bottle first. He knows what he needs!

aww dude hes wearing the best helmet :)

where about in montreal are ya !

ha ha... just wanted to say our son is exactly like that.... i had this problem trying to do the bath, bottle, bed routine!! he just decided he wanted his bottle and would let us know, in his own way!!!
