IC vs. FRER sensitivity?

Hey Ladies,

What is your experience with IC & FRER sensitivity?
I read some where that FRER is very sensitive - 12 vs. 20, which is the IC? Non-Ultra sensitive?

I'd like to hear your experiences..thanks!

I think FRER is 25mIU, although this link says it's 15-25mIU (the lower the number the more sensitive the test). I bought IC (pink handled Wondof brand) and they're 25mIU

Thanks, Lady! I've seen these lists before but then have seen some posts where some woman got a positive on IC but not FRER & the reverse too....positive on FRER & not IC.

With this pregnancy I had "pregnant" on a FRER digi where there was a barely there line on an ic. Good luck!

i got my bfp at 9 dpo. i took this set of tests that evening. they were all dipped in the same wee. as you can see, the wondfo is much clearer than the frer...

lol...yeah. i'm a bit nutty. we had been ttc for 2 years and we were about to start down regging for icsi. i was so shocked to find out i was pregnant that i must have taken at least 10 tests that day.

Wow Bexxc! That's an amazing array of tests you've got, congrats! I'm 10DPO today and if I were a betting woman I would put money on me being pregnant. Quite a few symptoms since 7DPO but my Wondfo tests just aren't cooperating. So tempted to buy a FRER but forcing myself to use up the 50 Wondfos I bought on eBay first

HAH! I'm tempted to go buy a FRER right now cuz I'm not trusting my IC...dont know why. I'm only 9dpo & gotten 3 bfn ;( I promised myself after months of expensive testing habits that unless my IC have a positive, I'm to stay clear.

lmfao - piss away a million dollars! yes i totally get it - i wish i can buy all the FRER's & just use those. No guessing using those. I find its a clear answer fast without the evap or misinterpretation of a line. But better than IC's. Anyway...
And after 2 years I'd get it. It's been a while for me & I've been staring at white tests since last year October....I'm getting sick of it. IF I got a positive, I'd test until my tests ran out. Then run out for a blood test!

Bahahaha! I know, all this POAS is expensive business. I'm only on cycle 2 TTC but after shelling out $10 on horrible blue dye tests last month (rookie mistake) I bought 50 Wondfo on ebay for $25 in the hop of keeping costs down. If I do get a I will take a leaf out of your book and confirm it with a few others

wondfos are a real life saver (and wallet saver) for all poas addicts! they are by far my favorites!

Here is a frer and instalert ic that I took with same urine, as you see my ic was wayyyy darker than the frer... I love these ic tests x

Awesome! Yeah I guess it depends on a lot of things which tests will be stronger.
I had luck w IC when I found out I was preggers last year.
