Icandy Apple Bassinet Hood does not click?

I have purchased an Apple Icandy Bassinet. The hood on it can be moved up or down without pushing in the grey buttons at the side. Also there is no clicking sound as I move the hood. Is this correct. Would appreciate if any apple icandy bassinet owners can confirm.

I have one too and it does the same. I think this is how they r supposed to be.
