Hi everyone,
We met with our consultant on Thursday and he said he was going to put in the application for Icsi. All we were told was if approved the max wait is 18 weeks. Does anyone know what happens now? How long will it take until we know if it's been approved etc? X

hi there
happy new year!
I'm currently going through icsi on nhs and would be happy to discuss with you any thing.
all i can say is if 18 weeks is what fs said then it will probably will take that.
Ours was a tiny bit quicker.. from our first app to beginning was 8 weeks. but hadto get put back by a month due to hubbys job (raf) so start my injections next week! eeek!
Theres plenty appointments in between to keep you up dated and pass the time.

Thanks Daisy! Good luck with your cycle! How exciting but nerve wracking!
We're hoping it may be slightly quicker as we have already paid privately and had the initial hormone profiling for us both at the clinic we're being referred to!x
