I'd like to stongly suggest a sticky pre-eclampsia thread ....

Currently in gestational (pregnancy), there are two attempts at sticky threads for pre-eclampsia and I would like to strong suggest that the forum do a sticky in GD -- it was another BnBer (since thanked! thanks!) who alerted me to some possible problems with excessive swelling in wk32 of my pregnancy and it meant that my medical team were aware of and dealt with my high BP -- pre pre-eclampsia, before it became pre-eclampsia and within a day of very carefully monitored treatment, eclampsia) and I do try to go back to pregnancy forums whenever I see a thread in relation to swelling -- just in case. As an older mum (43/44), I had a perfect pregnancy to wk 32 and was seen a few days beforehand for an appointment before the excessive swelling kicked in....

please consider it -- my LO arrived safely and I recovered well, but other mums might not look at every thread if they think it doesn't apply to them!

i second that.. i was pre-eclamptic.. or on the verge of it any way.. had severe swelling and high blood pressure to they induced me at 40 weeks and he arrived without a problem other than being transverse.. but had they not induced me i could of had really bad problems

What do you meant there are 2 attempts? If someone has asked for a sticky within a thread it's highly likely to not have been read.

Please link to the thread that you are requesting a sticky and I will review.

sorry -- I meant two threads currently, suggesting within the threads that they become stickies -- e.g. Arisa's Pre-eclampsia/Toxemia thread and/or lil_mama_45's Eclampsia thread -- but perhaps even a 'new' one, e.g starting with all the symptoms, etc.?
