Ideas Needed-feeling low

Sorry if in wrong place .

Feeling pretty low about my appearance atm. I really want to change my hair colour.

I currently have long (as in past my boobs to mid ribcage) length hair, with a sweep fringe and some layers. I am naturally dark brown, however i have dyed it lighter.

I don't want to go all one colour ifykwim but i was think like a block? a layer of my own hair then a colour then my own hair? or highlights? or dip dye? but im stuck on what colours to go for?

I dont like posting pics of myself on open parts of the forum but i have blue eyes and im quite pale.

im fed up looking crap all the time!!

I didnt have my haircut for almost 2 years (when i was expecting DD1) and then i got bored of my current hairstyle... i got curly hair which you cant really style.

Went to my local hairdresser who talked me through what hairstyles suit me as i explained i wanted to treat myself... in the end she cut it into a feathered look and now im happy with that x
