I brought a Bruin Battery operated breast pump from babies r us today. I've been sitting with it on for about 30 mins now and got 1 0z I normally get 4 oz with the manuel.

Is there a certain 'nack' to using an electric????

Is your nipple inside the sheild properly ? with nipple in middle ...hope that makes sense...also i think cos its a different kind of sucking motion it may take awhile for your boobs to get used to ...keep with it sure the milk will come xxx

^^^good point about the batteries. Mine does battery or mains and its crap on battery mode

I used my avent electric one on manual mode and the difference in the suction I thought was amazing. Manual felt a lot more hardcore whereas electric its quite a gentle suction.
