When should I send my invites out? I don't know how long people need cos EVERYBODY is having to travel atleast 50miles apart from us, my mum and his parents and sisters.

I've only been to one big wedding and we got our invite 7 months early lol so im not sure?

Anyway sorry about that to the question!
I would send them out asap, we sent our invitations out in February with reply date of May 4th so gave people 3 months (still not had all of them either!!!)

I am getting married July 17th, we sent our invitations out in 2 batches - one for RSVP 31st March and one for RSVP 30th April. We're still waiting on a fair few from the first batch and none have come back at all from the second batch.

I'd suggest sending them out ASAP, giving them around a month to reply. I guess I went on the idea that if you gave them a shorter deadline that perhaps they'd add a degree of urgency to it. It's worked on the whole.

I think im gonna send them out when I get paid next week - stamps are gonna cost me a fortune!
This is just the day people - evening peopler im gonna wait til the beggingin of may to send out so they can organise babysitters etc!

My wedding is 17th July and I have sent mine out about 2 weeks ago. i havent given a date to reply by as the day guests are all close family and friends and I already know they all coming.
I would get them out now to be honest. 3 months to reply is enough, but not too long that people will file it away and forget. x

Yeah, send them out as soon as you can. I'm getting married July 11th and am a little behind and working on my invites now, so hopefully will get mine out by next week.
