when did they?

I have dark brown eyes and DH has blue. Lo has dark blue/slate coloured eyes and a few flecks of brown began to appear gradually but they have stayed like this for the past few weeks- she is 15 weeks on Friday.

Thought they would have changed more by now if they were going to.

When Korben was born his eyes were dark blue, then specks of brown appeared.. think when he got to about 5mths they were mainly brown, but if you look at them in the sun he had blue specks in them 'look nice' x

somebody told me that eyes can change up until the age of one.
our son has the darkest brown eyes, you can hardly see his pupils yet he was born with very dark slate blue eyes that went brown quite quickly.
our daughter was born with piercing blue eyes which at 10mths have become grey/blue, I have orange/green eyes and other half light brown.
very confusing.

Thomas's eyes turned a very dark brown by the time he was 6 weeks old. Everybody was amazed when they seen his eyes and commented on how beautiful and dark they were. Some asshole even said he was like the devil his eyes were so dark - I was furious! He didnt really even have blue eyes when he born, they were very dark slate colour.

Ollie was 10 days late and if his eyes weren't brown when he was born they were that dark that they looked it!

I'm still waiting to see if LOs eyes will turn brown. DH, DS and myself have brown eyes and right now LO has a slatey blue color. My Dad has hazel eyes and my Grandfather and his sister on my Mother's side had piercing blue eyes. So there is that slight percentage that she could keep her eye color. Either way she will be beautiful but I'm hoping she keeps this shade. :)

I was just watching a show on just this yesterday! They said that eye colour generally changes the most in the first six months but can keep changing until they are 3. They can go darker but never go lighter as the colour change process is adding pigment (it's impossible to loose pigment).

Omar's eyes were dark blue at birth, then they became dark green & now they'r dark brown. I have hazel-green eyes & DH's are hazel

All of my 4 kids were born with blue eyes. My two oldest eyes changed to green after their first year. My 14 month olds are still blue but I'm expecting them to change. We shall see when my one month olds eyes change.

Callum had lovely dark blue eyes when he was born, then they started changing to a hazel colour around 12 weeks and were fully brown about 16 weeks i think xx

My LO eyes change colour in day and night very strange, daytime they are green but later in the evening they go brown (no its not the lighting in my house either) they where blue when born

My teenage daughter got one green eye and one brown eye

My 5 year old son has two different shades of green in his eyes. Its really neat!
Here is a picture you can kinda see it. The green is slightly darker on his left eye.

Thomas was born with brown eyes and so far they are still brown. Mine are blue and OH's are hazel.

They started to turn brown around 3 months.

Carmen was born with dark grey-blue eyes; they actually went almost violet for a little while! Then to a colour like the inside of a black olive, grey-brown. Now they are dark brown, and probably got there at about 5 months?

My eyes didn't turn to their final colour until I was three years old! I was born with dark blue eyes, then they were light blue until I was three years old, when they went dark green. :)

Harrisons eyes are Hazel at the moment and I would say they changed at around 2 months.

My LO was born with dark blue/purple eyes and they've just got more and more lighter (blue) as she has got older! I'm really hoping they stay blue! She's mixed race (Im mixed white & black caribbean with dark brown eyes & OH is white with blue eyes) and they look gorgeous against her skin tone & hair :) x

I have blue/green eyes and DH has brown. Nate's eyes were a dark, dark blue when he was born so i was convinced they'd go brown, but they actually got a bit lighter since and if i hold him and look at both of our eyes in the mirror, theyre exactly the same. Down to the yellow flecks in the blue/green bit. I'm really hoping they stay that colour, because they're gorgeous (not to be arrogant)

Sophie was born 13 weeks premature but when she was 5 months actual age (but should have been 2 months!), her eyes started to look a bit hazely green from the sides, rather than the dark blue that they had been. They've gradually changed over the last few months, going green then hazel and now at 13 months (but should be 10 months!) they are very dark and still getting darker. You can especially see it if you look at her eyes from the side. DH and I both have very dark brown eyes so I reckon Sophie's are going to be the same.

Bobby had blue eyes till he was about 4 months old and now they are brown. Mine are brown and DH's are blue :)
