I'm an embarrassment!

I took my daughter (11) shopping and the entire time she walked a little away from me!

I think it was what I was wearing... she came out in her best clothes, face covered in make up.
I came out in some trousers that looked like pjs, a vest top and too big jumper that was starting to fall apart. No make up.

I feel really bad for her now, I'm used to just wearing what's comfy. After all, were only going to the shops! It's not like I'm going out out!

Anyway... lesson learnt. Next time I will dress more appropriately. I feel bad for my daughter, I just didn't think! And she's so sensitive at the moment!

Honestly I would dress up to go to the shops. It's not a dress up occasion.

Your daughter is a pre-teen everything embarrasses them. I'd just ride it out. I deffo no slap a load of make up on and nice clothes to go food shopping

In less than 10 years she'll be going to the shops in her PJs #studentlife so I wouldn't worry to much about that! lol

She's growing up so fast! It doesn't seem that long ago she was born!
