Im Being Scammed

its just ashame im too smart for them

thought id post this anyway to warn other people

basically i went onto the internet looking for a puppy, and found one that i wanted (boxer) for really cheap - pure bred for £70

i was on used dudley and the owner said he was located in oldbury

so i messaged the 'owner' and left them my number to ring rather then emailing,
they never rang me but emailed me instead

these are the first few messages i sent/recieved

i still got the male and female available for sale to lovely homes who are willing to take good care of it. they are vet checked, vaccinated,potty trained, friendly with kids and can cope with other pets.i will like to know if you owned a puppy before and where are you located.i am selling them at £80 each.

how old are they? and yes weve owned a puppy before, we have a 1 year old yorkie and my husband has had boxers in the past, we are located in wolverhampton and are interested in the male as our dog is a little boy too, how soon would he be availiable and are they cross bred or pure boxer??

up untill this point i didnt think anything was wrong, i did think it was a little strange about the pet delivery agency so i googled it to have a look cuz i had never heard of them before and as soon as i did it come up with a million and one pages about pet delivery scams
basically thay ask you for all your address info, telephone numbers, full names etc what they do is tell you there gunna send you a puppy but it'll cost you about £150 and give you a true delivery agency but tell you theres a problem with the uk bank account and that you have to send the money through western union to an address in cameroon, africa!!

obviously you never see the puppy or the money again but they sometimes ask you for more money cuz your 'puppy's stuck at the airport

i just know this is a scam after this

NOTE: how on the add he was situated in oldbury untill i said i was in west midlands, then he ended up in aberdeen, also they say because its africans doing these scams the english grammer is bad, which it is,

im not impressed that people are that sad and horrible to try and scam people out of there money, im also a little gutted that i wont get the sweet little puppy in the picture

omg i know, i had that when we were trying to get a puppy last year... we have our little jack russell now who is now 14 months old and a gem but at the time i was enquiring about the lovely yorkie pups in an ad, think they were advertised at 120 and sounded perfect. and it was the same thing, all of a sudden they were somewhere miles away and would have to have the puppy transported to me at such and such an amount, i immediately thought, no way thats rubbish, seeing as i had searched for puppies in hampshire and they were now saying they were in scotland... and then they seem to try and ask u lots of questions to make themselves sound responsible but just sounded suspicious to me and yes the grammar is bad, can tell immediately that they are foreign... i was really cross that people are that callous, preying on people that are looking for a puppy to love... scum bags.

oh and there are many websites that are absolutely full of fake ads... the only 100% real one i found was e-pupz... think there is a very small signing up fee but its all completely legit and well worth it

while googleing about the scams, i come across the watchdog website and they had an article about the scams, and one woman had actually forked lots of money out, its really annoyed me tho, it makes me wanna find them and punch them lol

The £80 would have given it away for me, there's no way you're going to get a decent pure bred puppy for £80.

But I'm glad you found out before it was too late. There's some rotten people around.

yeah but as they were white boxers, there usually the hardest of the litter to get rid of so i just assumed they were struggeling to get rid of them xx

my friend was almost scammed by an ad very similar but because they were messing her around she looked else where (think it was the local paper) and found her puppy that way

Terrible. Best way we found our Chihuahua was to go to a dog show. A lot of the people who.show the dogs breed them too and you know they're kc registered.

They do the same with cars. FOB was selling a car through auto trader, and he had 2 emails almost the same saying they live in aberdeen scotland and they where going to send a cheque for the car and someone would pick it up. Apparently they cancel the cheque after they have the car!

We had this sooo many times when we was looking for a pup! I started asking them really long questions about why they can no longer have the pup, what type of Vac's has it had etc lol
