Hi ladies,
I've never been on the TTC forums before, just baby club but we've decided to TTC #2 and I need some advice. When I came off the pill in 2011 to TTC DD I didn't have a period and was diagnosed with pcos although I don't have any symptoms other than anovulation. I was given 3 rounds of clomid after paying privately because the waiting list was huge in my area to see fertility doc. I conceived DD first round and she was born in january. I stopped BFing her in June and no period since. I am obviously going to need help again. We desperately want to start TTCing #2 and but I'm not sure what the process will be regarding fertility treatment this time. Ive thought about it for a while and Last night I dug out my left over proerva and clomid tablets, there was no date on either. I have got a GPs appt but not for ages and I don't want anyone to know we are TTC. I have decided to take my two left over months while I wait. Took first day of proerva yesterday. Am I being stupid??? I don't want to cause harm to any potential babies but I can't bear waiting months with no action again. Help!! Thanks in advance!!

Hi there, were near identical!! I'm also anovulatory, no period in years...
I had Jace in January (he was 1st round clomid, 50mg) stopped bfing April- went to my doc in late July and said I think I need provera, he said he didn't recommend it and didn't give it to me....low and behold I was lucky as 10 days later got a BFP!! Had a chemical though- lost it a week later....now its been 7 weeks i was hoping af wouldve been kickstarted but no! I have one round of clomid left here I was gonna sneak in but rang my gp and he said since I responded well to clomid I don't need to see specialist and wait again he's written me a script to start clomid again but the only thing is I'm going in Wednesday to get a progesterone/hcg test just to MAKE SURE I haven't ovulated again, ill call on Thursday and if they say negative again ill be starting my clomid then!

Wow! We are really similar!! Thanks for your response that's fab your GP didn't make you start over. I've got an appt on the 7th but not going to tell her I'm taking my leftovers!! Let me know what happens at your appt! GL!

I'm excited- only 2 days to go now! I was originally going to just take the leftover clomid In sept but I did worry the one dose wouldn't be enough and I'd be upset if it didn't work, but then after that one spontaneous ovulation (which was a few days after starting metformin) I'm afraid ill have oved again naturally and won't know it! It's been 50 days since the chemical now and it's been driving me crazy cos ever 10 days precisely I have been getting cramps and ewcm so I keep thinking "maybe I did ov!" Then as I hear the end of tww I get ov symptoms again.
