I'm getting pains in my tummy. Mostly on my left side. Started after I went for a wee this morning. It's really hurting and it feels like period pains. I'm scared. I am not bleeding but I just hope I'm not gonna have a miscarriage or an ectopic pregnancy. Please let this baby be ok. I have dull cramps pressure before but this is worse. anyone had this and everything turned out ok?

Thanks. I'm worried.

Oh and I haven't poo'ed in a few days. But the pain doesn't feel like constipation. It's focused on my left side and it really hurts. I'm trying to relax. I'm so scared. Oh my god. I rung my mum and she said stay in bed. X

Hey him up until five weeks I had sharp twinges and pains. Also at like cramps that would come an go but were there pretty frequently. I got an early scan and everything was fine. They have since gone away. It's probably just the baby implanting

Oh and my pain was mostly right side so that's why they did an early scan to rule out ectopic. If you are worried call your doc. You might have to wait until 5 weeks to see sac on ultrasound

Poor u, I''m 5-6 weeks (I think, if clearblue digitial was anything to go by) and its only this week that my cramps stopped. They were quite strong, enough to make you go "ouch" but I was told it prob was where the baby was implanting, now I get the odd mild cramp type pain. However, if you spot heavily or get severe cramps please ring the doctor...though I'm sure its just your lil baby burrowing in good and proper!!

Make sure you drink lots of fluids and rest if you can x x

That little thing best be burrowing in good and proper. I'm not ready for it to come out for 36 weeks! I love my little seed. Best not be going anywhere!!!! Thanks for your replies! I'm gonna stay in bed abs rest all day n think positive. If I bleed or it gets really bad I'm going to the doctors! Keep everything crossed me ladies! I will keep mine crossed for ur little ones as well x

I had bad cramps during week 4 and 5 from what I've read on here a lot of ladies are similar. I also had a few sharp twinges in my side and still do now occasionally but they soon go.

xx

I had really bad cramps when i first found out i was pregnant. They felt like AF cramps but about 10 times worse - like i was gonna get the worst period ever. My pain was all on the left side too, i felt like my tube was gonna burst or something. But gradually the pain went further down the tube day by day until it went into my uterus/pelvis area, then the cramps kind of went after about a week.

I think its just little bean getting comfy and there is a lot of stretching and cramping that has to happen.

Hi, when I was preg with my daughter I had cramps all the time for several weeks, sometimes really bad! I was preg a few months back and didn't have many cramps at all and unfortunately that ended in miscarriage. I'm now 4 weeks preg and cramping like hell but to me that's a good sign, I'll worry if they go!

Xx

I got horrendous pains, like AF pains but super worse, and also other pains. I did have a urine infection which I had to have antibiotics for but they got worse after it went, I had an early scan an it turned out to be a cyst, so tisn't always bad fo sho :) If you are worried you can get examined no problemo xx

i have heard that it could be a corpus luteum kicking out progesterone its nothing to worry about ask ur midwife if ur worried, i have been getthin it also xx

Im at four weeks and have been panicing over little cramps. So thank you for this post and for all the replies. We need to stay positive and stop thinking something bad is happening but smile that our little poppyseeds are digging into their new home.

Actually, the bad cramps at 4 weeks was my first sign of pregnancy. The day my period was suppose to come, I had bad cramps and couldn't sleep well the whole night. So I went to the doctor the next day. The doctor did not suspect me pregnant since my period was suppose to come. So he prescribed bloating medication and for cramps. After 5 days, I was back to the same hospital with cramps but only to receive the good news! :) I still experienced cramping at 6-8 weeks. So I guess it's nothing to be worried about. :)
