I'm just sick of it

i hate people like that. id just ignore them nothing better to do with their time.
hold ourself hun xyour head up high and enjoy y

Screw them! I know how you feel, as bump is growing more people are noticing and I've had a few particularly rude people make comments... although I don't hold my tongue and rant at them for it
For instance today, me and my friend had to sit on the floor of the bus station because no-one would bother to stand for a pregnant woman... my bet is if I'd been 30, not 16, I'd have had plenty of offers, but instead I get floor or nowt!

*******s the lot of them, best thing to do is prove them and their views wrong.
xo

Blimin hell you aint afraid to make a pint. I admire you for that :D. I would do something like that but i think i might struggle. I can get get onto the floor and sit down alright, its just getting back up again, i think id be stuck lol:rofl:.

Thanks for the comment hun :hugs:
xx

some peopl can be so ignorant.. ignor them and have fun :hugs:

I've taken to wearing a ring on my wedding finger when I go out to stop people staring :shy:

This is actually a good idea! lol

I have had hardly any comments on my pregnancy / being a mum so young... I wonder if it is because I am married and they see either my husband or my wedding ring an assume I am older??
Probably! It worked with me. I've noticed people look at the bump then their eyes dart to look at the left hand, so it wouldn't surprise me if that's the reason. I feel silly doing it but meh, keeps the old bags staring at me with disapproving looks.

you'll get looks like that anywhere under the age of 21 and unwed here, I'm almost 20 years old and people give me shit, someone asked why i decided to keep her, telling me she would have a good life with a family who can lover her, as though I will hate her or something, people just don't get it. Its not about age, there are plenty of married couples who are much older who do a terrible job.

:hugs: It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. They're immature for judging you like they are. Your little man is all that matters now

xx

OMG I know how you're feeling 100%.. people on the bus are THE WORST! Firstly they always crowd me somehow and maybe it's not intentional but I just want people to be away from me, I'm always so warm lol.. and then after all the years I gave up my seat on the bus for people who were pregnant, I have yet to be offered a seat by ANYONE, and my bump is quite noticeable. If anything I get dirty looks.. where has courtesy gone to these days?

Also.. it doesn't even apply to only pregnant people, I ALWAYS see stupid college students sitting while elderly women and men or young children are standing on the bus, I just don't see what's wrong with some young people these days lol

:hugs: you are lovely lass, ignore them hun. Yes ur young, but whats done is done, and ur gonna be a fab mum.

It wont be long now, and we all cant wait to 'meet' lil aidan!!! xxx

Yerp totally agree hunni, Before i got signed off college i used to get he bus everyday, and at 33 weeks pregnant with a bump you cant miss, i used to have to stand and hold on to my folder and bag and try and hold on to the rail things, i nearly feel over wuite a few times and how people just sit there watching a heavly pregnant woman struggle is beyond me, i was always taught to give me seat up to the elderly, disabled, pregnant women, women with babies and young children. So your the only one it ticks off hunni, God i better shut up now lol Rant over :D

I really can't believe the way you're being treated! I hardly ever leave the house and when I do I'm always in my own little world so probably wouldn't notice any negativity anyway but it would really upset me if I did. You should really say something because it's so unfair of them to judge you like that and not giving up their seats is just horrible!
Stand up for yourself without being rude, they'll probably respect you for it! (Their respect is worthless though because they're idiots!!)

I am sick of getting dirty looks, people tutting and me and basically treating me like ive commited some major crime. The other day i was waiting for a bus and i was in the line. And this lady came up behind me and i just glanced at her. She looked at me, and then looked at my bump like it was a piece of shit (sorry about the language) and tutted. So that really made me wana cry but id tryed to ignore it. So i get on the bus and sit down and she gets on and gives me the dirtiest look ever and then when she goes to get off she gives me another looks and says kids these days.. i mean yeah im 16 and that is young and its not liked a planned it, but this lil man growing inside me is my world now and i just dont get why people have to make me feel so wrong for having a baby and make me feel like im nothing.

And today i got a letter from my old school saying they were holding a prize evening, to present us with our GCSE certificates this month. and i do wana go but im put off by the fact that i don't know if i will be able to handel all the stares, dirty looks, tuts and comments from all the parents :hissy:

Sorry for the rant girls i just needed to get it out:cry:
xx:hug:

Want to thankyou for this post because i have also had this and i haven't even got a huge noticable bump yet.

but about this prize evening i really think you should go...be strong stay strong and be proud let everyone know you don't care what they think.,you deserve to.

Plus im 16 tomorrow and i'm still at school and planning on taking my GCSE's and my whole school knows now but i hold my head up high and actually have not heard one comment thats bad yet because if you stand high and proud people think well she wont be bothered if i say anything.

I hope u go and get the prizes you deserve :)

you'll be a good mummy!

I know, I was pissed, I asked her "would you kill your baby?" and she looked horrified so I said how can you expect someone to do something even you can't do.
man it pissed me off, its not like 'm going to struggle terribly, I mean I can afford this baby and everything, he only thing is I'm single. But I live at home and stuff. People are just so ******ed sometimes

I would go sweetie. It will be really hard to ignore them and i can imagine that it will feel quite hurtful too, but you won't be on your own - you'll have little Aidan inside there with you and whenever you start to feel upset put your hand on him know that you've got the most precious thing in the world.
I'm not a teen Mum but wanted to tell you that you should be so proud of yourself. I'm a few weeks behind you and have read a lot of your posts over in 1st, 2nd and 3rd tri and have to say that you've got a really mature, sensible head on your shoulders - far more so than some women I know that are a lot older than you. Go to that prize giving and hold your head high because you're going to be a fantastic Mum and in a few weeks time you'll get your own special prize in Aidan and I'm sure he's going to think he's the luckiest little baby in the world :hugs:

ignore then hun i am 23 and pregnant with number 2 and people look at me like gee what is she doing she is to young i even had someone comment to me about it i soon told them where to go
