I'm new and I need help please

Hi, I am 18, been with my boyfriend for 3 years. We have never had protected sex but ive never fell pregnant ... why ?

We both would love a baby, what are we doing wrong?

Hey hun,
I'm 19 and me and my OH have problems conceiving too.
You might be best to post this into the 'Trying To Conceive' section of the forum (on the list of the homepage).
I'd advise you to go to your doctors, they say if your under 35 and you've been TTC for longer than a year with no luck then you should seek medical advice.

I haven't been to the doctors yet either, it's been 23 months but I keep putting it off because I really want to conceive on our own! We've decided if at the end of this cycle we still have no luck we'll go to the doctors.
If your doctor turned you away because of your age then change doctors, we're over the age of consent and we've been actively TTC so we should be taken seriously

Hi and welcome! I think PP had good advice, if you're under 35 after a year it's best to go to the doctor and start to try to find out what may be wrong. Good luck!

I know what you mean i have been putting it off to because i don't want them to look at me and think seriously?...because of my age!
I want to do it on my own and i know that's what my boyfriend wants too because obviously he doesn't want to go in and talk about that type of topic.
But sometimes you just have to face that sort of thing.
Thankyou so much for the advice, im glad you understand me and see where i am coming from i was scared people were just going to rant at me and say i am to young but it depends on the couple and the people as individuals.

Welcome! Is he pulling out? If so, that is likely why. The pull out method, while not recommended is used effectively by many, including myself.

If but a bit nervous u could try and see what can b done at home to improve ur chances. Try tracking your cycle, find out how long it lasts, for opk to see ur r ovulating and when u r ensure u dtd. I have heard that, while frequent sex is needed, to often and your oh wont have any "good" sperm left so u need to find a good balance. Gl with your journey
