I'm not well - pleurisy

Hi ladies,
I've got pleurisy. Has anyone ever had it before? How long did it last?
I'm in agony

You poor thing, it's horrid isn't it. I was ill for about 3 weeks in total, although it got less painful, I was just wiped out and exhausted. Look after yourself

3 weeks? Oh no . Was yours viral?
I was in a&e this morning - I thought I was having a heart attack!!

My OH had this last year and was in hospital for a couple of days then ill for just over 2wks. Hope you start to feel better soon

Yes I think it was a viral cause, the pain lasted for 4-5 days and I felt ill for another couple of weeks. I've had pleurisy type pain more recently but that was because I managed to break a rib which hasn't healed properly so it irritates everything.
