I'm now a single mommy :(

I never thought this would happen. I was planning our wedding. I even bought a dress. It was set for this October. He called it off 2 weeks ago. I've been trying my hardest to work things out but he just won't do it. He moved out tonight. We have a 16 1/2 month old daughter. I'm just broken..

I'm so sorry he left you.
I've been with Alexa's dad for 5 years. He finally proposed to me and gave me a ring and begged for us to try for baby number two. We had a wedding date and everything. I got pregnant and the talk of marriage never happened again. Everytime I brought it up he would get pissed off. Now I'm due in less than two months, and he's basically non-existant.

I will never understand men. You wouldn't think there could possibly be that many horrible ones out there. But there seems to be MANY of them. It really sucks... because they seem like great men when we first meet them and for the first year or two... then their true colors come out. :/

I hope you and little one are doing ok.

Sorry to hear that.. I have a 6 year old and was a single mom for 3 years until I met my husband. Its hard but it really makes you stronger because now you have to be strong for you and the baby... When I was a single mom-- I went to school full time to get my Bachelors, Worked a full time job and was a full time mom.. I never thought life would be easy or normal..but it made me realize what was important and what I had to do to get by.. Good luck and it wont be easy but just keep your head up and you will be a great mommy

I am so sorry to hear hon. My ex and I were together 15 years before we split. We went through Ivf to get our daughter - and I found out I was pregnant with my son 4 weeks after I left. Life as a single mum is hard, frustrating, disheartening, but then I look at my kids and I see the love, the rewards the joy and it is all worth it. Keep strong and keep smiling hon. Life has a funny way of working out right!

Sending huge hugs hun unfortunately I have been there too, my ex and father of my 4yr old and baby number 2 walked out 2 weeks before our wedding he basically left me to sort cancel everything and pay off the rest as it was short notice cancellation he then went on FB to tell the world he was feee single and available to all the ladies. It is hard but you will be ok you deserve much better and more so someone who will love you equally if not more xx

I am so sorry! It's absolutely terrible that he left after begging you for another child! I can't imagine, hun! I'll never understand this either. How can a man go from wanting to get married to just walking out? How does it change so quickly?

Thank you so much for the inspiration! I'm so happy to hear that you found your husband, that gives me hope! I am currently a full time college student as well. I only have a year until my Bachelors in English. I'm just going to focus on my school work and daughter to get through this!

I am so sorry, hun! That's just awful At least it was a few months in advance and all I had to do was just inform everyone. I can't believe how many of us this has happened to. I never thought it could happen. Thank you so much for the support.
