HI! I am starting clomid tomorrow cd3-7... Last month was my first month on it and I went unmonitored because we were out of town during the fertile times (altho day 21 showed prog was good)... this month it looks like we will be going unmonitored again because cd12 they are closed for thanksgiving... so fx that all goes well and we can do the iui on cd15 if i get pos opk... It seems like sooo many variables and is stressing me out! Anyone else in my boat Clomid with IUI this month?

I'm possibly in the same boat. I just finished the last clomid pill of round 2 and waiting for my u/s on Friday (cd12) to chck follicle size. Each month is a guess as to whether or not we'll need IUI or not. We have to get a post coidal test each month to see if the clomid dried me up or not. I was fine for round 1 and didn't have to spend the extra money (we're out of pocket).

i had my iui on monday... didn't get to see how many follicles and def felt dried up... i feel like i ovulated the day after the iui or maybe even today... go figure... i didn't know they could give you a test to see if clomid effected cm... is that at a obgyn or a specialist?

It's a really simple test actually. Ok tmi alert...you BD the night before the doctor appt (about 8-10 hours i think) then they use a little pipette to suck up a little bit of CM from your cervix, put it under a microscope and look at it. Some may not survive but a lot of them should and will be swimming. I also had this done off of clomid about 8 months ago just to make sure that my CM was fine and wasn't to acid or base therefore killing his poor soldiers. And yes, I go to a specialist, but I would think anyone with a microscope can do it.

I am going to ask about that!!! TMI as well I have really yellow cm all the time and they have ran so many tests on it to see if it was infections and they always came back negative... but as i go on in this journey i am learning that most drs, even with evidence staring them in the face, don't connect the dots or just think well that could be it but im not going to worry about it... altho i have been able to get preg in the past just doesn't stick... anyways, thanks for the info, def going to talk to the dr next cycle if this one doesn't work out
