I'm on my own from now on...

Me & 'my other half' have split. 7.5 years, 3 babies, a mortgage & wedding in less than 6 months.

It's a difficult situation that means he'll only see the boys for a few hrs once a week. Up until now I've always been the bread winner but have had to give up my job and put a claim in for income support. After 3 months I can get help with my mortgage so I'm hoping for now that I can just plod along.

We lost our first son and our rainbows r 3 & 1. It's been 3 weeks and so far we r doing ok but with Christmas then our angels birthday straight after im dreading it

They saw him for the 1st time on Friday and I was told it went ok. My 3 year old has hardly mentioned him, they both seem to be adjusting very well.

Anyway, sorry for the long post. I used to be on babyandbump thru my angels pregnancy, loss and then my rainbows pregnancy and birth but haven't been on much for the last year or 2. I think id like to be on here a bit more again

darling, you have been and are going through so much. You sound like a strong woman. With time and healing you will be okay. Once you get everything sorted and get used to a new way of life, things will get better. Its tough for now, so be good to yourself and make sure you take breaks and get support when you need it.

Like Teal said, we are supportive ladies here and understand what you are going through in your break up

Dezireey, thank you. Ur dogs r beautiful. I have/had 2 dogs. A golden Labrador and a staffy/Akita cross. We agreed that he'd take Rex our lab and I'd keep Chloe but Chloe was trashing my kitchen she's had Rex with her 24/7 for 5.5 years so just couldn't be apart from him so she's gone to b with him but I've been told that they r look at having her rehomed! I'm gutted but just can't cope with her I have to put the boys 1st

Sorry you are going through this... The holidays are hard but try to focus on your children and making them happy. I find if they are happy it fills my heart and makes me happy.

Its the being on your own that makes it hard so try to occupy yourself during that time.

I am sorry you are going through this, time heals. You will have a variety of emotions from feeling free and liberated to deep grief and sadness but eventually it gets easier sending strength to help you through this difficult period xx
