I'm really scared for the doctor visit!!

I just organized my doctors appointment to get my bloods done. It's at 11am on Friday. It's Monday today and I am freaking out! I took two tests, just to be sure, they both came back with faint lines, however they were clearly visible. I don't know what it is, but I just have this inkling that my blood test will come back negative I'm really scared since my mother, baby daddy and myself are absolutely overjoyed at the news... I'm just really nervous that I somehow stuffed up the tests and I'm actually not pregnant!
I guess I'm just going to have to wait until Friday and try and not stress too much...

Oh hun i'm sure everything is ok don't worry! I think most mummys on here can say they felt the same, especially with the first scan, just think that nothings going to be there! But try not to worry, it's not good for you or bubs, and if the pregnancy tests are still coming up pregnant, i'd most certainly say you definitely are!

I felt that way too! Right up until last Monday when I saw the little heartbeat it takes some wrapping around, but it's gonna be okay

False positives are very rare and getting two would be exceptionally unlikely. Good Luck!

I worried about that with my LO. You could take a digital test? This time I didn't believe the tests but it sank in more after seeing that 'pregnant' I think it's a common worry

I know how you feel hun, I didn't get a strong positive line until 6 weeks! It's really not uncommon, so i'm sure everything will be fine.

I think until you see the baby and hear a heart beat, you doubt its there. Perfectly natural hun. Leta us know how it goes!

Try not to worry to much Hun! Everyone feels like that. The day I found out I was pregnant took 4 pregnancy tests in 1 day and 1 evey day until my appointment and I without a single doubt in my mind was sure their tests would come back negative. I mean seriously you could have not convinced me otherwise. When that test came back positive I was over joyed it made it so much more real. I still worry about the baby all of the time but the closer to 12 weeks I get the better I feel. Goodluck at your appointment Hun! Get your question list ready also ask for a number to the RN or the Dr for future questions because you will have them!

actually girls this is an old thread, if you check the OP date out, it's may 19th 2013, and OP actually ended up losing her her baby two days after posting this

so yes usually there is no need to worry but sometimes horrible things like baby loss do happen... my heart goes out to you and your angels tinymomma i hope you find some healing and comfort as soon as possible

I took four tests [two digital] just to be sure and still didn't believe them because I was so nervous that I would go in and be told that I wasn't. But a fait line is a line after all
