I'm scared to try this month...

I conceived this time last year, and my period is due the day I miscarried last year. I am so scared I'm going to get pregnant and miscarry just before Christmas, then have to see 2 pregnant sisters and a pregnant SIL at Christmas. Should I not try this month?

I'm so sorry for your loss hon...I would try anyways and be hopeful for the best outcome possible...I just wouldn't want to miss a month but I understand not wanting to be upset during the holidays...

After 20 months and 2 chemical pregnancies I guess I just assume that if I even do fall pregnant it'll end the same way. Which is a bad way of thinking. I see my specialist on the 23rd (ovulation day) so hopefully he can talk some sense into me!

If it were me I would try, but not test until perhaps 2 days late (less chance of a chemical being flagged)

But if you feel so strongly about your fear for Christmas perhaps just give it a rest this cycle and go all out for the next one?

My chemicals were at 5 weeks 2 days and 4 weeks 5 days so after my period was due but not far along enough to be counted as a proper miscarriage xxx

I understand how you feel.
We had booked our holiday to Crete for our best friend's wedding far in advance, and were going to TTC afterwards. But we got pregnant the month before the wedding. We were so excited. But we lost our baby the day before the wedding. It ruined the whole wedding day, and the whole holiday in Crete.
Now we are planning on TTC again, just before Christmas. But think I wanna wait til after Xmas and New Year, coz couldnt bear for it all to be ruined by another loss.
Think you should wait, Hun. But obviously, its up to you. Good luck
