to feed my baby today because he bites me so hard many times. i tried to stop feeding him for a few minutes and start again or give him something else to bite then try to feed again and he still did it.:dohh:
what else should i do? i always have a bite before start sucking:hissy:

wot bout them sheilds hun ? sry ur going thro this :hugs:

If he's biting before a feed, try giving him your finger to bite first then latch him on. Don't leave it too long between feeds or he'll be more likely to bite.

I did give him my finger then slipped my nipple in but he still did it:dohh:

As soon as he bites, tell him no, take him off and put him down for a few seconds. If you do this consistently, he should quickly learn that if he bites he doesn't get to nurse.

:hugs: dont know how you guys do it!

I know how you feel, Caitlyn has 6 teeth and OUCH!! I just put her down if she bites me, she doesn't do it much atall now x

Lincoln got 2 teeth and when i say "no", it seems like he doesn;t get the message. What age will they understand? Hope not too long, i still want my nipples pain-free

I don't say no, I just carmly put her down and wait for her to want to feed more x

:hugs: Just wanted to say I feel your pain. Claire was a biter as well, and it seriously hurt... not to mention she doesn't even have teeth!

 Can't imagine how painful it is for you. I hope you find something that works for you soon. It really sucks tensing up and cringing before a feed. I've been there, and it's no fun at all.
