Just thought i'd ask for opinions on what to do?

I'm still waiting for my period since my appointment with the FS my last period was December and I cant have my tubes checked until I've had a period as I have to ring them on the first day of my next period.....What do I do now? Its been a month nearly since my appointment! Anyone ever been in this situation....Getting beyond a joke now.

You've tested I'm assuming?

I would certainly ring them and ask them to put you on something to regulate your period. Metformin, maybe. Sitting around and waiting for 61 days for AF is ridiculous. Although, I do know a woman who hasn't had a period since early 2010.

AF isn't coming so they need to do something about it.

Hiya, when we had our first appointment with the FS i was on CD90 something, i eventually found out they wouldnt give me a hycosy until i'd had a period so they told me to go to my doctor and ask for provera to bring on my period. i took this and it actually made me ovulate! but i got my period as normal on 15dpo! please go to your doctors and ask for provera!! x

Yes I was just in your sitiuation although not as long a wait. I was 17DPO (which should uauslly indicate pregnancy) But no. AF arrived 18DPO. This is the longest cycle I have ever had and also the longest LP. Sucks

Hey Ladies. Thanks for the reply. Im still waiting for the witch but as its my day off today I decided to ring the radiology department and tell them. She said they have a slot next Thursday and im to do a pregnancy test in the morning!

So my HSG is booked in for Thursday 23rd of Feb at 9.20am!! Im really nervous...anyone have any advice? xxx

That's practically the same as me! I'm 10am next Thursday, 23rd! Difference is we already know I have a blocked tube so they will give it a go with the dye then they will insert a catheter and wire to try and unblock. Yucky, but hopefully it will work. I'm being given light sedation for it. I would take as much pain killers as you can.x
